Like the flowing river,
Flowing all day and all night
Is her constant watch on me

When I was young
Too innocent to know what it meant
Barely loving what her eyes did
Always hovering the place to find me
I must have hated this

Now that am old
Every day when I see her eyes on me, is like living a thousand peaceful days
For her sight carries compassion, love and
Still remind me of this one thing
Her unfailing love.

Her love that flows each new day in me
Never looking at my dirty past
For her correction is final.
Like the river waters aligning aside the dirt is what she does,
and maintains her flow.
Leaving me in the middle where fresh waters are aligned to flow after a complete filter.
Flowing freely and lively
Oh, how I love to feel her protection

Then the waterfalls that try to make life hard,
But she offers to lie below for me not to get hurt by the rocks
The old aged rocks, too firm to break.
For a continuous flow.

She does this at a prime age when I think she should retire
At an age when I start to worry of one day waking up and seeing her no more.
But she never wants to surrender, life a sacrificial lamb, she wants to play her last days
A warrior never forgotten
She flows much more that the ordinary waters of the river.
