For mother
Nine months ain’t long
It still comes next year
But not like the bump
The kicking and beating of the baby.
A soul innocent, to know painThe bump out
And filled with cuddles all night
The pain to see it cry,
Cry for understanding.
The pain gone through. So today life given
Is celebrated.
Like a once lost now found
Pure happiness yet filled with regret.
For the standards of this nation draw me further.
The desires I can’t fulfill
To obsessions not earthly.Cuddling all night
Is the crave I seek
To fill myself all night
With
Love
Knowing it will last short
Like the blowing winds.I sing today for your soul
Because the thousand shelves have poured love,
Flowed to their veins
From a single soul
You’re the constant thought
In minds you made
Everyday
Throughout the day at night break
You’re the life we live for.
Kept all your pain still poured out love
Served us with peace, comfort as a daily dessert and happiness a recipe for the meal.Inward you showed
Life was made perfect
and outward, warned of the pain
and hugs brought comfortAnd later you said let’s pray
Matured adults
Were well fashioned and made
Sprayed love perfume that still smells on us
And later you said let’s pray
I will remember.
