It's been three years since Nathan and I have been living together. We didn't have any issues between each other and never fought for something we didn't do.

I was expecting him to introduce me to his family but it never happened and I didn't even bother about it.

I peed on the test and waited for it to beep. I always wanted to have a nice family with him.

He would be happy if the test comes out positive and that would mean a lot to him.

The few seconds was like hours for me.

Throwing up every morning the past two weeks was not a good sign. So taking the test was the best result.

Beep....beep....beep....

I can't believe my eyes as I saw what it said. Happy tears started to roll.

It reads "PREGNANT."

I flushed the toilet and ran out of the the bathroom directly to Nathan's office.

He was there sitting on his office chair and staring at his laptop, meanwhile playing with a pen.

"Can I talk?" I asked kindly.

"I'm not in a mood." He replied without getting his eyes of the screen.

"But its something special."

"The what is it." He said looking at my face.

"I'm pregnant." I blurted out.

His mouth fell open as the pen dropped from his hand. Silent felt for a moment.

I thought it might be good news for him but it wasn't.

All he said was "I'm not ready to be dad" and I slammed the door running to my room with tears.
