Dinner was ready and everyone have taken a seat except Cassandra. "Daniela, can you get your sister?" Alcina asked and Daniela stood up and went upstairs to her sister's room. She knocked on her door but Cassandra didn't say anything, when Daniela tried to open the door, they were locked. "Cassandra, we are having dinner" Daniela said but Cassandra stayed silent. "Well at least let me in" Daniela said and heard the door unlock. She went in and Cassandra sat on her bed. "Cassandra, what's wrong?" Daniela asked. "Nothing, i just don't want to eat" Cassandra said. "Tell mother that i'm not joining for dinner and that i am really sorry" Cassandra said and Daniela left.

When she came back Alcina just looked at her. "Cassandra said she doesn't want to eat and is really sorry but won't join us for dinner" Daniela said and sat back on her chair. "Alright, eat" she said and Daniela, Bela and Anna started eating while Alcina tought about Cassandra. She knew what was the actual reason why she didn't join her mother and sisters for dinner. That reason was Anna and their deal.

"Mother? Are you alright?" Bela asked. "Yes, i am alright" She said and started eating too.
When they were done the maids took the plates, forks, spoons and knives from the table. Alcina stood up. "Bela and Anna you may leave now" Alcina said and both of the girls left. "Daniela, can you please talk with Cassandra about this?" Alcina asked. "Mother, i already tried but it didn't work, when i tried to talk with her about this she didn't listen" Daniela said. "Thank you, i will do that myself, you may leave now too" Alcina said and Daniela left too.

Alcina stood up and went to her daughter's room. She saw her daughter sitting on the bed and just looking at the wall, she must be thinking about something. "Cassandra?" she said and her daughter looked at her. "I really want to talk with you about all this, why don't you like the deal?" Alcina asked and sat on Cassandra's bed. "Because you don't give her blood for us too" Cassandra said. "It's dangerous, she can die if we drink to much blood from her, we don't need her to die" she said. "Why?" Cassandra asked. "Because i said so" Alcina said. She remembered how kind Cassandra was to her and now she became really rude but Alcina knew that she can't get mad at her daughter. "Cassandra, her blood is special, you won't find blood that is like this, i haven't tasted blood like that for years and that's why i don't want her to die" She said and Cassandra finally started to understand her mother. "I'm sorry mother, sorry for being rude and for everything that i have done today" Cassandra said and Alcina leaned and hugged her daughter tightly.

Even if Cassandra understood her mother she tought that this was a little selfish, she didn't worry because her mother was right when she said and that she can find another prey. At least she wasn't mad at her mother now but still kept thinking about Anna and her sweet blood.
