It's been three weeks since the whole, invite a homeless stranger over for tacos, thing. I haven't seen him since, I hope he's okay. I stopped taking my own trash out last week after I gave up hoping he'd be out there. I don't know what the hell is wrong with me. I've seen a million homeless people before, I give them money and stuff all the time, mething about him just felt different. I can't quite put my finger on it though.
I decide to finally get out of bed and start getting ready. It's Sunday, which is me and Tori's off day and we've decided to go to lunch downtown.
After brushing my teeth and washing my face I throw on some sweats with a graphic tee and my nike dunks. I put my braids into a ponytail and make my way out the door

"Lookie Lookie here comes my chocolate chunk cookie," Tori greets me as I walk into the restaurant.
This is one of our favorite places to eat. It's a sports bar where you can eat really good food and watch a really good game at the same time.
"Hi Tori," I laugh as I greet her back as we make our way to our table and I sit facing the window.
"What can I get you lovely ladies today," the server asks us as he walks up to our table.
"I'll take the ten piece wings and fries with a strawberry lemonade please"
"And I'll have the same with a side of you," Tori teases the waiter.
He just lets out a loud laugh before giving her a wink and walking off to prepare our orders. I laugh quietly to myself and shake my head. If there's anything Tori is good at it's flirting.
"He's cute right," Tori says, looking in our waiter's direction.
"Eh not really my type of guy."
"Nobody's your type of guy Tales. I'm starting to think you like homeless people," she jokes.
You have no idea.
"Here you ladies go," the waiter says, setting down our order.
"Here's your wings and fries and my number's on that napkin. Call me sometime pretty."
I watch as Tori and the waiter just stare at each other for a good 30 seconds before I clear my throat.
"Um you forgot my strawberry lemonade," I whisper.
"Right, coming right up."
He gives Tori one more smile before returning to the kitchen to get my forgotten drink.
"You just had to go and ruin my happily ever after huh," Tori sighs.
"Girl, you've known the guy for 15 minutes. Get over it," I snap.
"Cinderella only met prince charming once," she tries to argue.
"Yeah but this ain't Disney and he ain't prince charming Victoria."
Our little debate is interrupted when the waiter comes back with my lemonade. I began to take a sip but I immediately choke when I look out the window.
Was that who i think it was?
"Umm excuse me I forgot my wallet in my car," I say as I get up from the table and make my way towards the door.
I look back to see Tori giving me a confused look and the waiter cleaning up the lemonade I just spilt.
I push open the door of the bar and frantically look around for him trying to make sure I seen what I thought I saw. My theory is proved right when I see him crossing the street.
"Randal," I call out as loud as I can, hoping he hears me.
He looks around confused for a moment before his eyes lock with mine. I see a wave of confusion across his face followed by another expression I can't really read. He does eventually stop though and I take this as time to catch up.
When I finally catch up I take a minute to catch my breath and look down to make sure I didn't crease my shoes.
"Look," I say standing up straight.
"I'm really really sorry for what happened that night. I know you probably thought I was like some serial killer but I promise I'm not. You had every right to run off of course but you did kind of hurt my feelings. Anyways I do want to apologize for making you feel uncomfortable, those weren't my intentions at all."
He just kind of stares at me for a second and this time around he's making me uncomfortable. I'm about to make my way back to the bar before he finally speaks up.
"No need to apologize, I knew your intentions, I just didn't want to be your charity case. I'm sorry for running off like that, it was rude and I could've just refused your offer."
His voice sounds a lot deeper this time around, It's kind of attractive not going to lie.
"Thanks for the apology though, you're a really good person and I can tell you have a good heart. Don't let anybody change that, the world needs more people like you," he says.
Awww he's so sweet
"Thank you so much, you're really sweet. And just to let you know if you ever want those tacos, the offer still stands," I smile at him.
"I might just have to take you up on that one day. By the way I didn't get your name."
"It's Giavanni," I inform him.
"Well Giavanni, your name is as beautiful as you are. I'll see you around," he smiles as he walks off.
His smile is amazing. He seems like such a sweet and genuine person, hopefully we can be friends.
I'm broken out of my thoughts when I hear Tori yelling at me from across the street.
"Tales get your ass in here you're gonna miss the game."
I let out a loud laugh and begin to happily jog back towards the bar.
Today was a good day.
