Chapter 4 - Silence

We started walking back. It was silence, it wasn't that awkward but still......

As I was about to walk down my drive Brad smiled "Thankyou for the walk, it was lovely"

I just replied with a little smile "You too, and thanks for showing me round the area." I did say it quite sharp but I didn't even know this boy properly so it didn't matter.

As I walked in the house my mum asked "Ooo, did you go anywhere nice with that new boy you've met?"

I bluntly said "Mum, I've just met him and anyway he was only showing me round."

I just walked away up to my new room and started putting stuff away and tidying.

Ugh what a stressful day, why does my mum think that I've got close with this new boy like. I don't even know him, he was only showing me so I don't get lost.

~ Brad's POV ~

Since I have got back from my holiday I keep bumping into this girl called Megan. She sat by me on the plane back to Birmingham. Also now she lives next door to me.

She has long brown straight hair, greeny/bluey eyes and such a cute smile. When I met her she was quite moody with me and didn't make much of an effort to talk but maybe she was tired. She has a really sweet voice which I find melts me. When we were landing in the i plane she did ask me if I didn't like the landing and I didn't say much because I hate landing, I just hate flying actually.

I took her for a walk the other day to show her around. I took her to my favourite place, a field. Not just any field, a field filled with flowers and nice smelling fresh air. She didn't show much enthusiasm but I know she loved it because I could see it in her eyes. But why wasn't she showing any feelings?

I haven't seen her for a few days now so maybe she's changed her feelings a bit. Well I hope so because I think I really like her.
