Chapter 13 - Meet The Tide

The Night of the first tour. ** BACKSTAGE**

I walk in to the room where everybody is. They all look to turn round at me. Brad looks at me so I quickly turn away not to make eye contact with him. Dani asks me to talk in the corner. I just do a little sigh and walk over.

"Megan, I'm really sorry about all of this. It's just I didn't want to hurt your feelings telling you Brad's got a new girlfriends and" Dani said.

I cut her off and questioned "so you wanted me to make myself look like an idiot and ask him when he already has a girlfriend?"

She looked at the floor.

"Look it doesn't matter, I don't want to ruin our friendship over some idiot anyways, let's just have a good time and forget about all of this."

We hugged then went back over to everybody else.

Connor burst out with excitement saying "Megan man, meet a The Tide, this is Drew, Austin, Nate and Levi."

I hugged each one of them then talked to them for a bit.

I was a bit annoyed that Brad hadn't said anything to me yet. But as his new girlfriend 'becca' is around I don't think I exist.

I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around hoping it was Brad. Hah I wish. It was James. He smiled at me and then told me to follow him.

We walked over to the side while everyone was chatting and Brad and Becca sat on the other sofa talking by themselves.

James said "I'm really sorry about Brad and all that. I don't see what Brad likes in her, she isn't very nice. Don't forget you are perfect the way you are but Brad doesn't realise what he's missed out on."

I smile and hug James.

Dani and I were in the VIP pit. I was right I front of Brad. I kept looking at him.

The first song was Somebody To You. Dani and I were singing and dancing along until it came to "Everyone's trying to be a billionaire but every time I look at you I just don't care, cos all I wanna be, all I ever wanna be yeah, yeah is somebody to you"
As Brad sang that line he stared into my eyes, I stopped and froze.
He stopped singing.
Tris stopped playing the drums in confusion.
James and Connor both looked at him.

He stuttered "I.... I.....
