Chapter 2

Izuku's POV

School was over and I left the school grounds, not without Kacchan stopping me though. I sighed and looked at him. "Deku. You know I never meant those things, right.?" Kacchan asked. "I don't know, did it sound like you meant it? Yes. You were supposed to protect me...you failed at that and it almost cost my life. But, I guess I should be thanking you. Because, if that hadn't happened, I would've never awakened my quirk." I said and turned away, walking away.

I could tell that Kacchan was shocked at my response. What he doesn't know? My mother abandoned me a week after I tried to commit, I do self harm secretly, I rarely eat, all I think about is committing, depressed, trust issues, abandonment issues.

Soooo, yeaaa, lots of shit he doesn't know. I walked down the path to the LOV and entered, going to my brother. "Hey, what's wrong little brother?" He asked. "....Kacchan is not only going to the same school as me.....he's also in my class..." I mumbled. "Damn it. Did he say anything?" Tenko asked. I nodded and explained what all happened. "What do you mean by he was supposed to protect you?" Giri asked.

"Back in middle school, he was friends with two other people that bullied me. He would also do that until they left but then help me since him and I were in a secret relationship..." I said. "....We're visiting auntie. I told her all of what happened a bit ago and now she wants to see how you're holding up." Tenko said.

That's what happened that night, we went to auntie's house after Kacchan fell asleep. I snuck into his room and replaced some of his clothes with mine and took his back with me. Auntie and Tenko kind of expected this, auntie chuckling and Tenko just shaking his head. Auntie said that she would talk to him which Tenko was grateful for and we both went back to the base.

Now, morning arrived and I slept with Dabi and Tenko per request from my brother himself. I got up and slipped out of both grips and got off the bed, going downstairs and just leaving. I walked to school and walked into class, seeing that Kacchan was the only one here and sighed, walking over to my seat.

"Nerd..." Kacchan said, making me stop in my tracks. "Nerd...I know I was supposed to protect you back then and I harmed you...I can't apologize for what I did, but I know that you already forgave me..." Kacchan said. "Unfortunately." I said.

"That doesn't mean that his family does." Kaminari-Kun said. "Oh god, here it comes." I muttered, getting confused glances from them. "SHUT THE HELL UP DUNCE FACE!" I sighed and sat down, putting my head down, surprising myself that I didn't even flinch. Mina and the others came over to me and dragged me to the back. "Good, the child is okay." Momo said. "HAH?!" I flushed. "Oh, but you are." Kirishima said.

"Hmph, rude." I said and waited for class to start. When lunch came around, I sat with Uraraka, Shoto, Iida, and Tsu. "Izuku-Kun? Shouldn't you eat?" Uraraka asked. "H-Huh? Oh, no thanks, I'm not that hungry." I said. "Oh, alright then Izu-Kun" Uraraka said. "Anyway, I'm going to go to the washroom.." I said and stood up, catching the attention of Mina, Kirishima, Kaminari, and Momo. I sighed and went to the washroom with the two said males following me. "Izu?" Kiri called.

I looked over and tilted my head. "Y-Yes?" I asked. "Is something wrong Midobro?" Kami asked. "I...I don't really know myself..." I said. I heard Kami's phone go off and he answered it. "Shin...? What's wrong..?" Kami asked. "We were actually asking him that before you called, he says that he doesn't know himself though." Kami said. I sighed and slid down to the wall, my back to the wall.

Kiri came over to me and kneeled down next to me. "What's wrong Zuzu?" Kiri asked. "What's wrong with me?....I don't know....I should be happy that I'm free from him...but, I'm not..." Kiri and Kami understood. I knew they did since they knew who I was referring to. "Try not to think about it too much, come on. Let's get to class." Kiri said as Kami ended the call with Shinso.

I nodded and stood up with Kiri, us three heading to class after. We entered the classroom and I went over to Mina, Uraraka, Momo, Todoroki, Tsu, and Iida. "Deku-Kun! Are you okay?" Uraraka asked. "Haha, yes, Uraraka-San, I'm okay." I smiled. "Phew, I'm glad. Uuuh, Deku-Kun, what are Kirishima and Kaminari-Kun doing?" I looked over to see them politely 'talking' to Kacchan. "I-I um....I don't know." I said.

"Alright, listen up brats." Aizawa-sensei said. I looked over at him and listened. "We will be having a guest come today to help with training. She specifically asked for problem child though." I stiffened and looked at him. "W-What was here n-name...?" I asked. "Inko Sakai." He replied. My breath hitched and I was starting to panic. "N-No...N-no...I-I don't want to train...." I said, shaking slightly.

Sensei rushed over and knelt in front of me. "Is she related to you Midoriya?" I nodded. "S-Sakai....I-is her m-maiden n-name..." I said. A knock to the door came and my 'mother' walked in. "Izuku baby!" She faked smiled.

I flinched and backed up, Kirishima and Kaminari along with a few other people, came over to me, including Kacchan surprisingly. "What was your marriage name?" Sensei asked. "When I was married, it was Midoriya. Now that I'm divorced, It's Sakai." Inko said.

"Why is your son afraid of you?" Aizawa asked. "I don't know...he ran away..." She said. "THAT'S BULLSHIT AND YOU KNOW IT INKO!" I yelled out. "Then you explain it, you quirkless person." Inko smirked. "I do have a quirk, you just don't care enough. I call it Angel Flames. I can heal anyone I wish and I hurt an opponent with my fire and/or wings." I explained.

"You left a week after and didn't bother to come and visit for a YEAR! I wonder how the hell I'm alive sometimes! With how much shit I went through in middle school with Kacchan and then at that hell hole I was not so well raised in with a bastard like you!"
