Aurelia's Diary- November 3rd, 2021
Dear Diary,
As Harry and I walked down to the maids' wing of the Palace, he intertwined our hands together which earned a small smile from my lips. I loved how he became so affectionate. He was willing to show his love through the little things, even through a grand event which he only wore a towel around his waist.
"Take a picture, it'll last longer," he said as I gazed at his side profile, however, I was obviously caught with his side glance. A small tinge of heat spread across my cheeks and I laughed lightly, trying to push away the embarrassment. Didn't I have the right to memorise the details of my future husband?
"I sure will, wait until we get back to our room," I said and he looked over to me. He raised an eyebrow, a small smirk playing against his lips and I laughed slightly.
"So you're suggesting we do some modern Jack and Rose scenes? I can think of one," he smirked and I laughed loudly. My mind wandered to the scene from Titanic where Jack drew Rose naked, however, the modern way Harry was referring to was picturing it with our phones. I shook my head slightly, shaking the thought from my mind.
"I take that back. You and your brain, Mr Styles," I said as a small grin plastered itself against my lips and I slapped the side of his head slightly, causing him to lightly chuckle. The days where we smiled and laughed was the ones I loved most. Even though, a tragedy occurred, I was glad we were working together to figure it all out. Our next move was to talk to the maid who came in with my breakfast, hopefully having the slightest detail who gave the note to her.
As we stood in front of the door that I used to walk through, the room that held most of my memories, I sighed before knocking. Within seconds, the door slowly opened, revealing my friend Elizabeth. My eyes widened slightly and a smile erupted onto my lips. "Elizabeth!" I squealed, rushing into her arms for a tight hug. She had the brightest smile, always smiling even during the darkest days. She hugged me back, holding me for dear life.
"Aurelia, I thought you'll never come back!" She exclaimed and I shook my head against her. "It's been like hell without you. Everyone has gone mad!" She continued as I let her go. Dark circles formed under her eyes, wrinkles beginning to show on her forehead and her ivory dress was slightly wrinkled in some areas.
"Are you okay? Of course I would come back for you. You're my favourite gal," I exclaimed, causing a smile to beam against her lips.
"I've been fine, but the others haven't. Ever since the King had died, everyone's been scared without a ruler. Like what if we get invaded and there's no one to help us?" She asked and I nodded slightly, understanding where she's coming from. "We're depending on the Prince. Please, Aurelia, help him rule," she continued and I nodded slightly.
As Harry stepped from behind the wall, Elizabeth's eyes widened slightly and she quickly curtseyed. "My Prince, what is it you desire?" She quickly asked, the shock spreading through her veins like wildfire.
"Elizabeth. I require to speak with Belle. She recently came to our chamber to bring Aurelia breakfast," he said and she nodded quickly. Turning on her heel, she walked off and within seconds, Belle came walking to us. "Belle, can we speak with you?" He asked. He cracked his knuckles, the nervousness beginning to pool within him and I quickly grabbed his hand, rubbing circles against his skin. He took in a deep breath, trying to cool.
As we walked away from the room, far enough for no one to over hear, Harry looked at Belle. "You brought Aurelia breakfast, is that correct?" he asked. His eyes was trained onto her as she nodded quickly and I felt her nerves twisting right in front of my eyes. "There was a note beside her food, is that correct?" He asked once again and she nodded. "Who gave you the note?" He asked.
