Chapter 17

We were about 10 minutes into the movie when I felt a small vibration coming from my phone. After texting Tommy, I made sure to put my phone on silent so nobody would hear us typing back and forth. From where he was sat, Tommy couldn't quite see Wilbur and was messaging me to ask if he was distracted enough. Luckily, he was, and Tommy started to get up, but soon realised it was best for me to come sit next to him instead. I shuffled around, attempting to be as quiet as possible yet still caught the attention of Jack and Ranboo, who just both gave a confused frown and looked away again.

I was enjoying the movie, considering I picked it, yet kept being drawn away from the constant movement from Y/n, but she was probably just scared. My mind had been thinking about nothing else but earlier and what had happened. As much as me and Tommy's friendship could be based off small arguments, I was the only one that knew about him and Y/n, and liking her wasn't an option. I had felt quite bad after what happened and hoped to stay quite close with her still, but only friends. Friends. That's not hard.

Another 5 minutes passed and Y/n was looking a bit scared at the movie, her hands were even shaking slightly. I really wanted to comfort her but didn't know how to without it seeming like I was making a move on her, but eventually decided to try and put my arm around her shoulders, again, in a friend way. Just as I was about to, Y/n began to shuffle and climb out from under the blanket and towards Tommy and Tubbo's bed. She was picking to be with them, over me. I couldn't blame her considering the level of awkwardness we had between us, but still, I couldn't help but feel a little jealous. My eyes watched as she scrambled over there, sitting in the middle of them, and glancing back to check if anybody saw. I did, of course, and so did Jack, but we both just gave a frown and turned away. His was more of a confused look, and I couldn't help but guess mine looked longing.

ೄྀ࿐ ˊˎ- Side note! Yes, another side note. I just want to confirm that the description of the book mentions two of Wilbur's friends 'fighting' over Y/n, Tommy and Ranboo. I am not going to spoil the story so I am just going to say that, what Ranboo is fighting over, is Y/n's FRIENDSHIP! I have many more plans but this is all I am going to say about that. Also, another really short chapter, I know, but this was another chapter that I didn't really know how to write on from here, I have a certain point in my head but I have to write a few more chapters until I get there. I could have made a few filler paragraphs but I thought that would ruin the whole effectiveness of the ending! Stay healthy and I will post tomorrow! :D
