Tera hone laga hoon

Rishi had never intended to fall in love with lakshmi, yeah she was supposed to be his wife because her horoscope was needed to protect him but except that he did not want anything to do with her. It was another thing he had to charm her with his nature so that she agrees to this marriage which he did properly but everything went bizarre the moment he started to know her. He found himself dangerously attracted to her innocence. She was too kind and naive for her own good and he wanted to protect her from all the cruelty of the world. Her trust was unshakeable once earned and when she loved, she loved selflessly unlike him who had always been selfish with everything even with her. He was supposed to reveal the truth of their marriage on their wedding night and stop this pretending love game but he found himself incapable of even opening his mouth to speak up to her when he saw her sitting on his bed, fidgeting nervously with her hands and biting her lips in her anxiousness. He could not take his eyes off her and every thought of revealing anything to her flew out of his mind right then. He kept gazing at her without a word.
As he strolled closer to her, Lakshmi shifted in the bed uncomfortably.
" Don't stop him from doing anything to you just bear with it even if it pains" her chachi had instructed her strictly, she nods her head obedienctly and later neha had scared her off how painful the first night is going to be.
He clasps her hand in his savouring the feel of her hands in his grip. He slowly touches her face, caressing  every feature of her face softly. Her lips trembled as he traced her lip line, he stops here his touch lingering on her lips more than expected. Rishi gazed at her luscious red lips, both his eyes and body blazing with desire. He remembered all that that time he had to refrain himself from kissing her sensely because he had to maintain his good guy image in front of her. He had never felt frustrated so much in his life.
Lakshmi felt her heart thumping inside her chest. She shivers as he cups her face and leans in connecting their lips. His kiss was not harsh, she was surprised by the softness and opened her mouth giving him more accesses to her. He hungrily continued kissing her and deepening their kiss by pulling her more closer. He smiles into the kiss when she kisses him back with equal passion. Rishi breaks the kiss running out of breath and surprisingly finds himself wanting more but he was conflicted. Wasn't he supposed to tell the truth of the marriage to her and leave her crying here? God ! What was he doing but then looks at her face and his eyes softenes. Her cheeks had turned into crimson colour. A slow smirk curled up on the corner of his mouth seeing her this affected by his kiss.
" I want to....sleep" lakshmi stammered abruptly out of nowhere. She looked afraid much to Rishi's confusion.
" Yeah it's okay, anyway it's already night. You would be very tired as well" He says to her as politely as he could offering her a smile. He did not let her know how disappointed he was, he wanted to do more than a kiss but somewhere he understood he had to go slow with her. She was not one of the girls who would throw themselves on him, she was different from every girl he had been with him.
" Actually" Lakshmi fumbles with her words, she doesn't know how to explain to him that she can't consummate their marriage right now. This is new to her, this physical intimacy was new to her. She needs time to adjust and get used to it.
She doesn't understand how rishi understands her unspoken words, he had reached towards her hand and squeezed it.
" You don't have to explain me anything" he assures her " I will not touch you still you want me to". Her face breaks into a blooming smile and she looks at him with adoration before removing her jewellery and falling asleep in one side of the bed. Rishi feels guilt seeping in him at the pit of his stomach which he ignores mostly, if he tells her the truth she would never look at him with trust and adoration and even could start hating him. He shudders to even at the thought of experiencing something like that from lakshmi. He vows to never let her know the truth. He rather lie to her and have her love than tell her the truth and lose her forever he decides and falls asleep with that thought.
His parents understands his feelings the very next day when they witnesses a joyful lakshmi instead of gloomy one they expected and looked at his face for explanation, they understood the truth by one glance at his face but they choose to silently accept it much to his relief instead of arguing with him.
Lakshmi on the other hand had warmed up to him and got comfortable with their intimacy more sooner than expected, she no longer shivered or got nervous when he touches her instead she moans in pleasure or responds to his touch passionately. They have not consummated their marriage yet but he has no doubt that they could soon cross the stage but right now he was happy snogging his wife whenever he got time. They had been caught red handed while snogging in various corners of the house by different family members and finally tired with this, his family had decided to ship them up to honeymoon for a month to abroad.  Rishi could not help counting days to his honeymoon and doesn't leave a chance to remind his wife about it who keeps reprimanding him how shameless he is.
" You haven't see half of the shamelessness I can do" he whispered to her huskily, " wait till our honeymoon, I will surely show you more". Her cheeks  turns into deep shade of red hearing it, he could not help himself from stealing a kiss from her lips.
But right now when he is spinning her around in the dance floor in one of the parties he was forced to attend, he mulls over on how things have changed now. She was beaming and smiling widely dancing in his arms and Rishi could not bring himself to take his eyes off her and look anywhere else. He would be fool if he ever let her go and Rishi oberoi was no fool to let go of something when he knows the value of it. He has not simply earned the business man of the year award and he knows his business well.
" I love you" Lakshmi whispered to his ears in middle of their dance, Rishi was momentarily taken aback by her confession for a moment and encircles his arms around her waist pulling her more closer than she expected. His heart racing after her confession.
" I love you too" he confessed to her as he takes one of her hands, and kisses the inside of her hands gently pulling her dangerously more closer, Lakshmi flustered at his gesture and her face lit up. His gesture mostly shut down the gossip running in the society that how after marriage Rishi Oberoi would get bored of his low middle class wife because right now whoever witnesses Rishi oberoi with his wife could see how smitten he is with her and how while talking with other guests or girls in the party, his eyes still lingers only on his wife.
It is true that Rishi had never intended to fall in love with lakshmi but he was helpless against his own heart. He had fallen in love more deeper than he wanted to but finds himself not caring about it. The only thing he was afraid was her finding about the truth of their marriage which he hopes she never does and even if she does she doesn't believe in it.
" Rishi come over here" Lakshmi calls him breaking him out of his trance. He smiles as he goes towards her as his heart raced again as he remembered that they would be leaving to their honeymoon tomorrow. He sighs in bliss at that thought and turns his attention to his wife who was introducing him with some new friend of her she had made. Rishi smiles stiffly at the ecstatic young woman who throws a flirty look on his way which lakshmi doesn't notice, rishi simply snakes his hand around Lakshmi's waist warning off the woman  infront of him who had dared to even hope that she stands a chance against his wife that she doesn't hold a candle against his wife for him. The woman getting his indication stomps off angrily humiliated leaving lakshmi confused and him with a triumphant feeling.
Lakshmi knitted her eyebrows in confusion at her new friend's sudden behaviour, " what happened to her?" She asks her husband.
" Will tell you later" Rishi whispers to her. Lakshmi nods her head understandingly and continues to smile warmly towards the other guests who comes to greet her. Some of the guests were genuinely happy to meet her and some tried to make snide remarks but Rishi's sharp glance stopped them from speaking more.
Later at the night when rishi had pulled over the car outside their favourite Vada pav stall he reveals to her what her new friend was upto.
" She tried that" lakshmi asks disappointed. She thought she had finally found a friend but it seems like every female friend she finds wants to use her to go close to Rishi and she could never comprehend how any self respecting woman would want to go closer to an already married man. It has not been few days since she was forced to break all her ties with neha owning to her cousin's accusations towards her husband where her cousin went on accusing how her husband married her for horoscope and did not love her. If here was something which lakshmi believed with every fibre of her being it was that Rishi loved her and could never hurt her in any way possible and she would never believe anyone speaking against it. Her cousin was baffled with her reaction especially her chacha and chachi who warned her that once she found the truth she would regret before she could have any  further confusion, Rishi threw them out and got both her sisters shifted to their college hostel.
" Sorry because of me, you have to put with that" lakshmi apologizes, her face twisting sadly.
" Yeah, it's okay" rishi says to her giving her hand a slight squeeze quickly and offering her a comforting smile.
" All this woman can try as much as they can, they can never succeeded in anything because my heart only beats for you" He declares making her heart jolt in happiness.
Lakshmi nods smilingly and leans her head on his shoulder," I sometimes wonder how I had gotten this luckier, you're a blessing I have recieved from the god and I will never not be thankful for this to god for giving you to me"
She doesn't notice as Rishi tenses up hearing her words because she was lost in her own blissful world.
" I'm really sorry lakshmi, you're not the luckier one here but I'm the one who has gotten luckier and now when I know how precious you're I can't lose you at any cost" Rishi thinks as he brushes off his guilt quickly from his heart and brain. He had decided long ago that he could rather live with twinge of guilt for rest of his life and then live a life without her love. He gazes lovingly at his wife who was now animatedly having her Vada pav and even feeds bits to him. He sighs happily as he does the same to her.
