" it's nothing serious Mr oberoi!" The doctor tells rishi," it's just weakness of not eating anything properly for days, if mrs oberoi will start eating at proper time she will be fine in no time. Just make sure she eats her food and her medicines she will be alright"
Rishi nods at the doctor's words weakly and continues to rub his hands together with Lakshmi's. Malishka stands on the corner fuming at the sight in front of her, rishi looked like his life depended on Lakshmi's survival in literal way and she did not know how it had come to this! How did this behen ji snatch rishi beneath her nose? and what did that behen ji have that rishi had fallen for her?

Meanwhile Lakshmi opens her eyes slowly and looks at all the family members surrounding her, she knits her eyebrows in confusion but her attention moves towards rishi who was rubbing his plams together with her hand sitting closer to her. she feels feverish and weak but tries to wriggle her hand from Rishi's with whatever little strength she had in her body but his hold was steadily hard on her.
" Lakshmi" Rishi whispers when he feels her hands moving slowly and looks at his wife who had come back to her consciousness. He sighs in relief seeing her, he had literally panicked in fear when she had passed out in his arms. He lovingly runs his hands over her hair. Neelam looks on as her son returns back to his normal state and breathes in relief so does the other family members. They had witnessed Rishi's state when lakshmi was unconscious, it was pathetic. Anyone who thought rishi did not feel anything for lakshmi after what they saw half an hour ago would be fooling themselves.
" Please, just leave me" Lakshmi cries and yanks her hand from rishi's and turns her face away from his. Rishi looks on, taken aback by a moment. His heart aching and his cheat tightening in pain but he ignores everything and shakes his head stubbornly. Malishka smirks victoriously seeing Lakshmi's reaction, seems like she did not need to do anything now, lakshmi will herself push rishi away.
" No! I will not go anywhere" Rishi declares and clasps her hand in his firmly. Lakshmi starts whimpering in pain trying to free herself. The family watches the drama for sometime before virendra oberoi interrupts. " Rishi beta! I think we should leave lakshmi alone for sometime"
" No" Rishi shakes his head, " I'm not going anywhere leaving lakshmi alone, I will never let her go"
" Rishi, listen to your dad!" Neelam says sternly but rishi still acts to be stubborn much to everyone's shock and refuses to go away.
" Please" lakshmi chokes holding back her tears helplessly. Rishi leaves her hand from his clasp from his seeing her state and walks away heartbroken. Ayush follows his brother to pacify him, and malishka follows rishi for her own selfish motives.
Neelam turns to look at the girl who held her son's heart at the moment and did not know what to tell her but she choose to be cordial with her for now.
" Take care!" She says and moves out followed by most of the members leaving behind virendra who choose to stay back to have a honest conversation with his daughter in law about his son.

Ayush and malishka who were still following rishi stops when they sees rishi stopping right in front of the wall and gasps at the same time when they witness Rishi harshly hitting his fist at the wall, he does it again and again without caring about the blood oozing out of his hand.
" Rishi"
" Bhai" Both Ayush and Malishka's voice falls in Rishi's deaf ears as he continues to hit his fist against the wall angrily. He was pulled away by ayush and malishka who rushed towards him seeing his condition. Malishka decides to tend to Rishi's wounds and was walking away to bring first aid when she hears rishi taking Lakshmi's name.
" Lakshmi hates me! Ayush. She hates me to the extent she doesn't want to see my face ever" Rishi says to ayush painfully.
" It's nothing like that bhai!" Ayush says trying to comfort his brother.
But Malishka had enough and had to jump in," why do you even care? Rishi you're mine! You only love me na"
Malishka cups his face, rishi looks at her for a moment and shoves her hands away.
" I'm sorry Malishka, I love lakshmi and I only want her" he confesses much to Malishka's disbelief.
" No... No!" malishka yells," you can't love that behenji rishi, you're feeling guilty and you're acting like this"
She holds Rishi's collars this time but Rishi harshly pushes her away," shut up Malishka don't talk about Lakshmi like that, she is my wife and I love her. Now pack your bags and go away from my house"
Malishka froze in shock hearing rishi and rishi just turns away from her. Ayush tries to comfort a distraught rishi who still was worried about Lakshmi's behaviour. Malishka who recovers from whatever shock rishi gave her becomes dismayed noticing that rishi doesn't even care about her and was only thinking ways to get that lovesick lakshmi back.
" You will never get her back" Malishka spats out in anger making rishi turn at her, it only riles her up more that it took Lakshmi's name for to gain rishi's attention. Well that behen ji really has rishi wrapped around her fingers but sadly it was no use because Malishka finally gets it that Lakshmi's own morals will not let her accept rishi back in her life. Good for her and very bad for rishi.
" Lakshmi will never accept you back, because you are a cheater Rishi and no girl will forgive you for what you did!"she snarled at him and then she sees hurt flashing on his face. Satisfied that she could hurt rishi with her words, Malishka walkes off away towards Lakshmi's room. If she is not getting Rishi, she will make sure rishi will not get the girl he loves so madly too. She will make lakshmi hate Rishi before she leaves the Oberoi mansion, she decides and stops near Rishi's room where lakshmi currently stayed. She opens the door determined.

It was almost midnight when rishi walks towards his room silently. His mother had found him with his fists bleeding and could not let him go still he got himself treated properly that included taking antiseptic injection which put him into sleep and he had woken up half an hour before, had argued with his mother to go back to his room to be with his wife who still did not want to see his face. He walks into his room and sees lakshmi who was already soundly asleep. He walks towards her and sits next to her.
" Lakshmi will never accept you back, because you're a cheater Rishi and no girl will forgive you for what you did!"
Malishka's words rang in his ears, which he jerked off quickly. He concentrated on his wife again, he smoothed her hair gently and tenderly kissed on her forehead. He pulls back seeing her stirring a bit afraid that she would panic seeing him near her but lakshmi shifted to the other side and was still in deep sleep. Rishi removes his shoes off as he moves towards his side of bed and lays down turning towards lakshmi, he stares at her for a while but could not keep his hands to himself for long time. He roams his fingers around her face and smiles relishing the feel of her soft skin. He plays with the strand of hair in the other hand and pulls an asleep lakshmi in his arms slowly trying not to distrub her sleep without thinking about the consequences of his actions. Even if he thought of the consequences rishi did not care right now when he had his wife in his arms. Lakshmi snuggled up on him unknowingly in her sleep it only made rishi tighten his arms around her pulling her more closer, rishi closes his eyes and falls asleep in no time.
Neelam finds her son in his room half an hour later, he looked content in his sleep and Neelam probably knew the reason by now. Lakshmi was the reason, rishi had fallen in love with this middle class girl whom she despised because of her own insecurities. She had known this was inevitable from a long time ago, she had seen her son looking at the middle class girl as some angel so many times, Lakshmi's one teardrop was enough for rishi to drop all his anger and melt in. Today when Malishka had come ranting to her about Rishi's recent confession, Neelam did not have words to even assure Malishka that she would get rishi for her and throw lakshmi out not after she had seen Rishi's madness for lakshmi, not after how broken her son looked after Lakshmi's rejection. She simply let it be and said Malishka to do what she wants to do , Malishka had stomped out of her room in anger getting that Neelam would that not do anything. Rishi had argument with her just half an hour before for lakshmi and left the room where he could have slept peacefully to with the girl who did not want to see his face again. Neelam sighs in defeat as she closes the door of Rishi's room quietly and walks away with realisation that no whatever what she does now she had lost against lakshmi.
Virendra oberoi was waiting in his room for his wife to come so that he could discuss about the conversation he had with his daughter in law today, Neelam walked in looking stressed and thoughtful about something.
" What happened?!" Virendra asked his wife concerned.
" Nothing! Just realized that we don't need lakshmi for one year anymore now we need her to be here for rest of her life so that we have our rishi happy" Neelam says in a lower voice. Virendra did not know should he be happy that his wife realized Lakshmi's importance in Rishi's life or sad that whatever she thought now lakshmi was not going to forgive rishi this time. He clears his throat to speak to his wife.
