Casey gets out of the car and slams the door and gets her bag out of the trunk of her parents car. Her parents get out of the car as well and look at her.

"My baby is all grown up." Her mom sniffles as Casey smiles

"Make sure you always call us." Her dad says

"You literally live, like, five minutes away. But, I'll call you." Casey chuckles then hugging for the last time in a while

"Bye honey." They wave as Casey walks away.

"Hello! Welcome to your first day of college! Here is a pamphlet for the campus and where you will be staying." The lady smiles

"Thank you." Casey mumbles with a smile

Casey knock on the door then enters her room.

"Hi!" The girl greets as Casey sends a smile

"Hi. You must be Kelly." Casey smiles as she sticks out her hand. Kelly used her hand to pull her into a hug which catches her by surprise.

"Oh!" Casey laughs as she rocks back and forth

"Yes! I'm Kelly and you must be Casey." She squeals

"It's so nice to meet you!" Kelly claps her hands

"You too." Casey sighs, ruffling her short blonde and brown hair

"We are gonna have so much fun together." Kelly smiles widely

"Sure seems like it." Casey scoffs

"So, besides me," she chuckles, "do you know anyone on campus?"

"Um, my boyfriend goes here actually." Casey nods her head

"Oh! Give me details!" She exclaims, now interested

"Um, well, we've been together for about three to four years now. His name is Justin Hughes and, yeah, that's basically it." She shrugs

"Is he cute?" She lifts her eyebrows as Casey furrows hers

"Um, yeah. That's why he's my boyfriend." Casey scoffs

"Don't worry. I'll respect your relationship." Kelly smiles

"You want me to show you around?" Kelly suggests

"Um, sure." Casey says briefly as Kelly squeals and grabs her arm and pulls her out of her dorm room.

"Well, this is obviously the main campus." Kelly snickers as Casey chuckles a bit just to please her

"That is where the hippies hang out." She points at a group of kids in sunglasses.

"They don't really look like hippies."

"Trust me. They are." Kelly chuckles

After walking around and introducing Casey to all the groups around school, they got a little tired and just sat down in the grass.

"How do know so much about the school? I thought this was your first year here." Casey asks Kelly as she sighs

"Well, I know people who know people." Kelly looks at Casey as she laughs

"Alright, well we should get to our dorm." Casey says getting up

"Let's go to a party. There's always a party on the first day." Kelly pleads as she grabs Casey's hands and dances with her

"I promised I'd see my boyfriend today. Sorry."

"Aw. Well, I'll see you later yeah?" Kelly nods her head

"Yeah." Casey nods as Kelly runs off. Casey clears her throat as she takes out her phone. She starts to text Justin as she bumps into somebody.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Casey nods her head as she picks up her phone that she dropped.

"It's ok." He says as Casey stands back up

"Happens a lot to me." He laughs as Casey chuckles, putting a piece of hair behind her head

"Who are you anyways?" He asks

"Um. I'm Casey Runnings," she nods her head, "and you are?"

"Ashton Irwin." He smirks at her as his eye trails over her face and body

"Nice meeting you, Mr. Irwin." Casey shakes his hand

"Please. Call me Ashton." He nods his head as he looks deeply in her eyes.

They stand there in silence for a little while, letting the chatter behind them fill void.

"Well," he breaks the silence, "nice bumping into you." He laughs

"Well, I've got to go. Hopefully, I'll see you around." He smiles then, walking off and Casey sighs heavily.

"You too." She trails off being that he already left. She looks up from the ground to see Justin walking towards her.

"Babe!" He exclaims, hugging her tightly

"You didn't tell me that you got accepted." He sighs, scanning her face

"I wanted to surprise you." She smiles, pecking him on the lips

He pulls her into a deep kiss, cupping her face.

"Who was that? That you were talking to? Who was it?" He sighs, rushing his words

"Some guy I accidentally bumped into. It's no biggie babe, I promise." She shakes her head as he sighs

"Alright. Well, I'll see you later. I'll text you my dorm number, alright? Love you." He kisses her again

"Love you too." She says after he pulls away and walks off.

She sighs, biting her lip then smiling as she walks to her room.
