The drive to Matt's house was surprisingly fun — You both spent the whole way joking around, talking about memories when you were younger, and funny stories of the two of you.

And honestly, it was nice to remember about the good things you both lived instead of just the cheating for a moment.

I mean... the cheating was one of the worst betrayals you had to deal with in your life — but it was obvious that apart from that, the relationship you both had wasn't bad at all. It was only love, happiness, and fun until that day.

Time seemed to fly because shortly after, Alex was already parking his car in a very calm and quiet neighborhood. Looking out the window, you saw a beautiful and noticeably big house, which you assumed was Matt's.

"It's here, come on." -Alex said, getting out of the car and you followed him.

Once you both were in the front door, Alex knocked on it and waited for someone to open it. You didn't know why but you were excited but also nervous about this.

Soon, Matt appeared behind the open door.

"Hey Alex! ...Oh, wow, hi y/n! I wasn't expecting to see you here!" -Matt exclaimed, stepping forward to hug you, which you gladly returned.

"Alex said it would be a nice idea... I hope I'm not intruding." -You said sheepishly.

"That's nonsense! You're more than welcome here." -Matt said, making you smile. He stepped to the side. -"Now come in you two, the rest are inside."

Your stomach felt like it was moving all around inside of you. The idea of being all together again made you incredibly nervous, and seeing Jamie after seven years was something special for you; meeting Nick too.

Alex seemed to notice it as he placed his hand on your shoulder, smiling. -"Don't be so nervous, it's just us."

"Yeah, I know." -You nodded and you both finally entered the living room.

Two men were talking, sitting on the couch and their heads turned around as soon as they heard your footsteps.

"Matt, where's your—" -Jamie said but then his voice faded away. He squinted his eyes, but then widened them as realization hit him. -"...Y/n?"

You chuckled. -"Hi, Cookie."

Jamie's shocked face turned into a massive smile as he got up, running towards you and hugged you tightly. You laughed, hugging him back. This really felt like home.

"Mate, you're gonna crush her!" -Alex exclaimed next to you both, laughing at the end.

"I can't believe it's you!" -Jamie said. -"You're so grown up! And look at your tattoos, they're amazing!"

"Thank you, Jamie." -You smiled big. -"You look incredible too!"

"I'm so glad you're back with us, I missed you, you know?"

"I know." -You nodded, giving him a sad smile. -"I missed you too."

"You still didn't meet Nick, though." -Matt said, making his way to you all.

Your eyes wandered around the room, until they landed on a blue eyed guy, his hair kinda long and a bit curly. He had a tiny smile on his face.

"I'm Nick, Nick O'Malley." -He introduced himself, extending his hand.

"I'm y/n, it's nice to meet you." -You smiled, shaking his hand.

"Same here, these three wouldn't stop talking about you since they saw you again."
