You were going to spend the night at Alex's house with Matt. You never had this friendship with anybody, that's why you were pretty excited about it and it's crazy because you knew them for just a few days. After your mom's call, the three of you headed to the supermarket that was near to Alex's house. He wanted to buy some food and drinks, and everything you needed for tonight.

"Maybe we bought too much food." -Matt said putting the bags on the counter. You left another two bags on the side.

"You think so?" -Alex laughed and looked at the four full bags.

"We could stay at your house for a whole month with all this food, actually." -You said laughing.

"I don't see where's the problem in that." -Alex smiled, looking at you.

"That's good." -You smiled back at him.

"Well, lovebirds, I'm going to take a shower." -Matt said behind us. Alex gave him a death stare and you hide your laugh.

"Okay, mate." -Alex told him and Matt went upstairs. -"Well, you can sit there while I prepare dinner." -He looked at you while he took some food out of the bags.

"Oh no, no." -You got closer. -"I'm going to help you."

He didn't say it, but that was what he wanted to hear. -"Alright." -He smiled.-"What if you make the pasta and I make the sauce?"

"Yeah, sure." -You grabbed the pack of pasta.

Alex and you talked and joked while cooking, whenever you spent time with him, you knew it was clear that he was an incredible person. When you looked over to him, you found quite cute how concentrated he was cooking the sauce, like if it was the most important thing right now. He noticed you looked at him and smiled.

"What are you looking at?" -He looked back at the pan, still smiling.

"Oh, nothing." -You replied. -"Just the sauce, it smells and looks... delicious."

He raised one eyebrow, he knew that you were looking at him and not the sauce, but didn't say anything. -"It really does, and I bet it tastes even better. Wanna try it?"

You nodded and he took a little spoonful of it, bringing it closer to your mouth. He first blew air on it so it wouldn't be too hot, and then you saw him blush slightly when your mouth wrapped the spoon and tasted the sauce. You must say it was delightful.

"It's indeed so good, Alex." -You were surprised. He smiled. -"What is it?"

"Thank you." -He seemed proud of his work. -"Aaaaaaand, I'm not gonna tell you. It's a secret."

"Maybe you will be a professional chef in the future?" -You crossed your arms.

"Who knows... but those are not my plans, honestly."

"What are your plans, then?" -You asked with curiosity, leaning on the counter.

"Hmm... I don't know if I should tell you. I mean... It's stupid." -He sighed. -"I don't want you to laugh."

"Why would I laugh? You wanna be a drug dealer or something?" -You giggled.

"No, no, but I don't know..." -He bit his lower lip. -"Just forget about it, it's just one of those impossible things that every kid dreams about."

"Well, I'm interested to know so... if you ever want to reveal your dream, you know you can tell me." -You smiled at him. -"You should know that nothing is impossible. I bet you're able to achieve whatever you have in that mind of yours." -You pointed to his head. He smiled. -"And I would help you with anything you need."
