Right when you took Alex's hand, you felt electricity through your veins. You couldn't even explain the sensation. Sometimes the big effect he had on you scared you, but the fear faded away when he intertwined your fingers with his.
It just felt right.
The way back to his house was kind of silent, though. You bet both of you had a lot of stuff going through your minds now.
But you knew you would talk about it soon and sort it out.

"'Ere we are." -Alex said entering his silent house. His parents were indeed somewhere else."Yeah..." -You replied, following him as he closed the door.
"Hey." -He said grabbing your arm. -"Are ya ok?"
"Sure, why wouldn't I be?"
"I dunno, it's just..." -He sighed. -"A lot 'appened tonight, tha knows... and you haven't talked on the way here. That's weird."
"Well, I'm alright... nothing you should worry about, really." -You shot him a little smile. You looked at his lip, squinting your eyes. -"Are you, though? Your lip doesn't stop bleeding."
"Really? I don't feel anythin'." -He touched his lower lip, and his eyes went a bit wide when he noticed blood in his fingers. -"...Shit."
"It's ok, you'll survive."
"I know but I'm not a big fan of blood."
"How strange for a zombie, huh?" -You grabbed his hand and lead him to his bathroom.- "Come on, I'll clean that for you."
"Is it like, really necessary? I mean... It's gonna sting a lot, innit?" -He complained, making you laugh a bit.
"Don't be such a kid, Alex." -You heard him sigh behind you. You started looking around once you were in the bathroom. -"I guess you have a medical kit or something, right?"
"Yeah, it's right there." -He said pointing at it.
As you grabbed everything you needed, he sat on the edge of his bathtub. He looked quite adorable still in his zombie costume, his tired eyes and his thoughtful expression. Suddenly he spoke again. -"I'm sorry the night ended up like this... I really wanted us to 'ave fun."
"Don't worry." -You reassured him. -"It's ok."
"How I'm not gonna worry? You didn't deserve anything that 'appened tonight... We should 'ave been laughing and dancing together, joking with the lads." -He sighed. -"And not with that dickhead!" -He frowned. -"Fuck, I hate Brian so much."
"Hey, it's alright now."- You placed your hand on his shoulder, giving it a soft squeeze. -"And it's alright because you showed up in the right time... Honestly, I don't know what would have happened if you didn't."
He closed his eyes and shook his head. -"I don't even wanna think 'bout that."
"Just try to forget about it, please?" -You sighed. -"Now take a deep breath, this might hurt a bit."
His eyes followed your every move until you were right in frown of him. You must admit you felt nervous feeling his gaze on you. When you placed the cotton on his wound, he quickly closed his eyes and tightened his jaw. You couldn't help but notice how sharp it was. Then you kept staring. I mean, you didn't have him this close everyday.
"Do I 'ave summat in me face?" -He asked. You realized his eyes were opened again, looking at you.
"W-What?"
