I followed behind him and he looked around the lobby. Noticing the different furniture and the colors that blended with each other so well.

"Nice place." He said.

"Thank you."

Concerned, I asked him why he was here and he told me to show him around the place, including the 'infamous' garden that he just so happened to remember.

I folded my arms and said, "Oh, so you want to have a session. If so, it'll cost you." He shrugged his shoulders and said that he had no problem with that and asked how much it would be for the session.

"Which one would you prefer, they all cost $40." I mentioned.

"All?"

I nodded my head and pointed at the sign of the menu for the shop. He looks over to scan the menu and one thing in particular, sparked his interest.

"A Seat at the Table? What's that about?"

I cleared my throat and said, " It focuses on the brain, the eyes and the ears. It actually is one of my favorite sessions."

"Why is that?"

"Because, there's always something sensual or authentic about conversation or observation." I went ahead of him slowly and asked him to follow. He followed behind me to the back and we went towards a beige door with the sign on it stating the exact same thing that I told him earlier but in bold italics, with a little more added.

There's always something sensual or authentic about conversation or observation. So, Have a Seat at the Table.

We entered into the room and there was the table decorated in the most exquisite decorations. The environment was really set as if it was a romantic date for two. And he sat down on the left side of the room and crossed his legs. I took a deep breath and said, "Alright, are you ready?" He nodded his head and gestured for me to begin.

"Face forward and take a deep breath. Then, I want you to take a look at the card on your plate." He did as instructed and read the card outloud.

"Scan the room and say "be present with me?"

"Yes."

"Be present with me." With that being said, I went over to where the box filled of books was and sat down in the chair across from him. With him grinning at me, I couldn't help but giggle at him. "How have you been, Donald Duck?" He chuckled at me and said that he was fine.

"Now," I hand him the book and I placed mines on the table. "Open the book and go to page 7 first." We both turned the pages of our books and the title read, "With This Table."

With This Table
I am laying everything out
I am releasing the pressures of the world
I am with you in this moment
So with this table, we can have a conversation
We will listen, think and see all things
With this table, each other's words and thoughts will be food on a plate, that we will digest
So let's have a good time together.

After the reading, I informed that it will be different since, it is not a couple session and he is not with anyone. "Okay, now. can you turn to page 14?" I asked.

"So, let me something straight, this whole session is supposed to be about us reading books?" he asked. I shook my head and said, "No. Just be patient. I'm sure you know how to, right?" I snickered at him and to which he felt that was a slick remark towards him.

"Watch yourself, mama. You bout to had start somethin'. " He said.

"I hope so." I chuckled. With my hand resting on the table, he placed his hand on top of me and started to carress with his fingertips. The electricity that I felt was going through my veins and I instantly pulled back.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

"You're supposed to be focused."

"I am."

"No, you're not. We haven't even started yet."

He got up out of his chair and walked over to me, to end up squatting down near me. And in a calm voice, he says,"But, we're already at the second stage." Second stage? Of what?

"Second stage of what?"

"Of our spiritual journey together."

"What? No, we're not."

"Yes we are. He told me that we would."

"Who?"

"God."

I laughed him off and got back to the task at hand. "Can you please pay attention? This is serious." He got up  and sat back down in his chair.

"Alright, next. I need for you to write down what you see that catches your attention, what do you think about it, and what does that voice inside your head tell you about it."  He took a pen from the cup holder and started to write down his thoughts. While in the silence for a few seconds, I couldn't help but stare at him. And without any bad intentions, I got up out of my chair and went over to the mini stove to check up on the tea that I had made from earlier. Luckily, it was done to perfection. I fixed us both two cups of it and placed one of them in front of him.

"Done." he said while putting down the pen on the table.

"Alright, what does it say?" I asked.

He cleared his throat and said, "The thing that caught my attention was a beautiful woman, wearing a beautiful necklace, around her neck. What I think is that she is my soulmate and that little voice in my head is telling me to court you."  i smirked and instantly walked out of the room.

He must be crazy.
