It's a terrible sickly feeling, loosing someone. It's like climbing the stairs to your room in the dark and thinking there's one more stair than there is and your foot falls through the air in some sort of dark surprise.

It is hostile. It is cold. It is empty.

Violet isn't one for anger. To be very honest she is much bigger than the average person when it comes to "forgive and forget." And maybe she wouldn't have cared so much if he didn't say he liked her...if he didn't make her breakfast...if he didn't say he never wanted to mess this up.

"You lied to me."

"Violet..."

See, the reason Violet doesn't get angry is because eventually she will cry. It didn't take long for this to happen. "You lied to me."

Harry squeaks out a 'sorry' as Violet just stares at him. What else can she say? What else can he say?

She doesn't dwell on it much. She can't really think straight, so instead she marches on to the parcel room. Harry's eyes are burning into her back, it almost makes Violet turn around and say something to him. Almost. Violet's shaky hands punch in the numbers her apartments keypad and pulls out a boohoo box for Amber and realises that she has a package. Textbooks.

This is overwhelming, Violet thinks. She should have thought longer about this. About even attempting to try a relationship with someone like him. She should have known from the beginning that it would be this way. She should have known.

"Violet, please, you have to forgive me." Violet turns to Harry and her eyebrow twitches a little because she doesn't have to do anything. But she doesn't say that. Instead so looks at him and utters a quiet 'why. "Because...because we've barely begun. There is so much I want to do with you, and so many places I want to take you and I...Violet, I'm sorry."

Violet just stands there. She wonders if he really means it, and for a second she feels bad for doubting him in the first place, but that subsides quickly when she recalls the embarrassment of sitting in her family room with her mother, waiting on a plan ride that never happened. "Harry, you have to promise me – "

"Yes, of course, yes. I promise. I will never hurt you again. I will make it up to you forever." He says all of this so quickly, Violet barely has time to process it. He is holding her hands now, the packages on the floor of the parcel room. The security guard is in the corner making note of the romantic duo, but not intervening. Violet wonders how many times he's witnessed this; skeptical woman accepting an apology from her so called boyfriend. She reckons a lot.

Violet looks back into Harry's eyes and yeah, its okay. "Can you carry my parcel? It has my school books in it. It's quite heavy."

He has it in his hands before she finishes her sentence.
