As they passed the rink, Toby's eyes widened and he glanced over at Lyra before sitting up straight in his seat. "Mom. You passed the rink. Turn back." He pointed behind him. His mother didn't say a word. She only glanced back at Lyra and Toby in her rear-view mirror before turning her attention back to the road. Toby could tell something was up, and he didn't like it. He didn't like it one bit.
But, he remained completely silent as they pulled up alongside the insane asylum. So many thoughts were running through his head that it hurt. He settled on one thought and stuck with it. She was just showing him what he would turn out like if he didn't get help. Yeah. That was a good thought.
He must have dazed out a bit, because when he seemingly opened his eyes, he was out of the car, and Lyra was holding onto him. "Come on, Toby. Stand up straight.." There was a hint of sadness in her voice as she spoke.
Everything Toby knew was floating away just like that and he started to squirm. No. They couldn't be possibly doing this to him. He thought they were taking him here to show him things. They weren't. They lied to him. They were the crazy ones. He wasn't crazy.
"You can't do this to me!" He cries out loudly and Lyra pins Toby up against the car. Seems like 3 years of boxing really did her good.
"I'm so sorry, Toby. I really don't want to do this.." She says sadly.
"Let me go!!"
His mother runs off to go get help in case Toby wasn't going to come along with ease. Hell no he won't. He doesn't belong in an insane asylum. Sure enough, three guards came and grabbed Toby, dragging him away from his mother and sister.
"Help me! You can't do this! You can't do this to me!"
Before he was dragged into the asylum, he saw the shadow figure again, only this time it wasn't a shadow. It was him. There he was, five years later. He looked about twenty-four. All chained up in a straight jacket with his head wrapped in bandages with hair astray. The future-him shook his head many times before disappearing in thin air.
Two weeks earlier, Toby had finally succeeded in killing his father. When the police came, Lyra and his mother blamed it on Toby's many mental disorders. The police never bothered with him again. That's when his mom and Lyra made a plan to get Toby help. Even though getting him isolated in a nice little white pillow room wasn't much help. The hug jacket was a nice touch too.

Many hours later, he was still in his padded cell, curled up in the corner of the small room in his straight jacket. He stared at the locked metal door, half expecting his mother and sister to walk in and take him out of this place. Of course, they didn't come. They would never come.

Again, another short chapter. But you get what's going on. Yes, Toby was just put into an insane asylum. Yes, hate me for it. Oops. Sorry not sorry.
