A loud, obnoxious beeping awoke me. I sat up straight, immediately regretting it when I began feeling a throbbing in my skull. I pushed my hand to my temple, cursing under my breath. I looked about my surroundings. I was in a cheap bed with a metal frame, the walls were a sickly white colour which looked like they hadn't seen a lick of paint in years as the edges were pealing like when you get sunburned. There was a dim white light on the ceiling that flickered gently every once in a while. I screwed my eyes up up at the sudden contact they had when I looked up at the light. I looked around to find the source of the annoying beeping. I tried to move to get out of the bed but I couldn't move my legs. I looked down to find a shadowed figure leaning over my legs?
I jerked my legs up, hoping to awake the unwelcome person.
I heard a yawn-like sound coming from them. They sat up and looked about, probably mirroring my face of confusion only moments before. They looked about but I still couldn't make out who it was in the darkness and only a flicker of light. I tried to call out to them but my voice just wouldn't cooperate. Instead a groggy croak came out.
The person sharply turned to me, and my eyes widened as I got a proper look at them- I mean him.
'Natsu?...'
