15: Forgiveness

'Sign here, and here' said the bored looking receptionist pointing at the placed I had to sign. I quickly scribbled my signature at the areas and handed the receptionist back the clipboard.

'You are free to leave now, just remember to take the right amount required of your prescription daily, and you should be fine. If you feel worse or the pains aren't away within a week, call us or just come in.' She said smiling slightly at me. Her eyes wandered to Natsu and then she said 'Take good care of her.' Before turning back to her computer.
Natsu inhaled a deep breath and then turned to me, giving me a sad smile. He had his arm around my waist and I had mine around his shoulder to support me since I was still in a lot of pain and a bit light headed from the medication but it wasn't serious enough for them to keep me in the hospital.

We slowly shuffled to the exit of the oddly quiet hospital and it was rather sunny outside. I squinted my eyes as I walked out the door that Natsu held for me, because it was really bright. Cherry blossom petals were falling all around. It was beautiful.

I was suddenly interrupted from my awe at the scenery when I hear a loud sniffle from behind me.

I turned to find Natsu standing there, hands covering his face, and tears falling through the gaps between his fingers. He was shaking through the sobs.

'N-Natsu?..' I say wearily.

'I'm so sorry Luce..' He let out a big sob. 'It's all my fault... I did this to you..' I could physically feel my heart shattering.

'Natsu I forgive you!'
