[A:N I'm really sorry if this is bad but I've not had any inspiration to be honest and I'm really trying because I feel really bad that I didn't update for months..]
[ LUCY ]
I looked up to Natsu for help, for reassurance, for anything. He just stared back at me with cold, dead eyes. This wasn't Natsu. This wasn't my Natsu.
"N-Natsu?.." My voice croaked. I didn't like the way he stared right through me.. Like I wasn't even there. As if I was glass. He looked back towards Igneel's body.
"Natsu.. Please.." I pleaded, hoping for a response. I could feel a lump forming in my throat as I tried to keep tears from streaming. I wasn't going to cry. I was going to try one more time "N-Nat-".
His head snapped towards me. "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!" I flinched at his tone. He punched the wall beside him with enough force to create a hole.
"Natsu-kun.." Wendy said, her voice wavering. I had forgot she was behind me along with Sting and Rogue but I didn't have the strength to turn around and look. Natsu just stood there, shaking. He put his hands to his head and closed his eyes. Wendy ran towards him. "Nats-" She was cut off from the impact of Natsu's arm hitting her, sending her backwards into a wall.
My eyes widened. He just hit his own sister.
I stood up from my position. Tears threatened to fall from my eyes. But not from sadness anymore, but complete fear of what Natsu could do. He wasn't fully there. He wasn't himself. Anger was controlling him.
"How dare you hit your own sister!" I say staring at him through blurred vision. "How dare you!". I'm not sure if I was seeing things but I could swear Natsu's face flooded with realisation, for only a second but it disappeared again. I began stumbling towards Wendy. She was cradling her stomach with her arms. Tears spilling down her cheeks.
I glanced at Sting and Rogue. Rogue was clinging to Stings arm, trying to stop him from running to Wendy. He had the right idea. Running towards Natsu would lead to nothing good.
I faced Wendy again and then fear rolled over her expression. But she wasn't looking at me, she was looking behind me.
Sudden fear took over me as I slowly turned my head to look over my shoulder. Natsu was stood behind me with a look on his face I had never seen on his before. It was pure hatred. My eyes widened. He pushed me with enough force to knock me over. My head came into contact with something hard and throbbing erupted from the back of my head. He looked over at me with a look of pure disgust. My vision become darker and blurrier and I didn't know what was going to happen. I had never been more terrified in my life.
But I was not scared of losing my life,
I was scared of losing my world.
Natsu...
