The Announcement: Chapter 1

No Ones POV:

Ashlyn gently tossed the bag of Funyuns down the stairs to Ricky, as he handed the bag to her boyfriend (who had opened said bag in her room moments prior).

"Did you stop to buy the pretzels?" Natalie yelled from the kitchen, "You and I both know that it's not a party without pretzels!"

"Shit, no I didn't, let me call EJ to see if he can grab some." Ashlyn mumbled to herself as she turned on her phone to call her cousin, making Ricky and Red laugh over their munching, since none of them remembered to stop at the store on their carpool to Ashlyn's.

Gina's POV:

"Hey, Ash is calling. Can you answer and put it on speaker for me? Thanks'' EJ asked, from the driver's seat.

"Sure, I can do that," I told him, "hey Ash, we're on our way." EJ told Ashlyn before she had a moment to speak.

"I know you're on your way, but I'm not calling to check on your whereabouts. I was actually going to ask if you could grab some pretzels, preferably the sticks, those are the ones Natalie likes the most, and they're for her." Ashlyn asked as I heard a random movie playing in the background.

"Oh, yeah, absolutely I can. Gi and I will be at your house as soon as we can. Bye Ash, love you. See you in a bit." My- well I don't know if he's my boyfriend yet- replied.

"Thanks, you're a lifesaver. Love you too, bye!" Ashlyn reciprocated before ending the phone call.

EJ and I kept making small glances at each other as he pulled into the grocery store parking lot, as he parked in a spot, "okay let's go get some pretzels." I said as I shut the car door.

Big Red's POV:

"Natalie, EJ's bringing the pretzels, and they're getting the stick kind!" I heard Ashlyn say as she started walking into the living room as Carlos put on Into The Woods.

We're all sitting around Ashlyn's tv, either on the couch or on the floor with multiple blankets and pillows surrounding us, as the opening credits for the movie comes on.

"Hey, sweetheart, did you get the sign plugged in okay?" I whispered to Ashlyn, as I put my hand out, waiting for her to grab mine.

"Yes. I did, thank you so much. I'm in love with it, just like I'm in love with you." Ash said, as she squeezed my hand, blushing lightly.

"I'm in love with you too," I told her as I leaned up to press a kiss to her cheek, blushing just as much as her, if not more. "EJ and Gina will be here soon, then the real party can start!"

EJ's POV:

Gina and I just about ran through the store to find the pretzels, grabbing the cheapest ones we could find. It's not like they taste any different, and Ashlyn wouldn't want me to spend a lot of money on them either.

"Time to party!" Gina cheered as she buckled in next to me.

"For the second time, but now it's just an end of the year party." I reminded her, "Will you text Ash and say that 'we're on our way'? Thanks again."

Gina reached over the console and grabbed my hand, squeezing it slightly, "you're welcome, I just sent the text. Let's go, EJ and Gina 2.0 need to get this party started!"

Carlos' POV:

"No, Seb, you need to be the Baker, you can't be Jack." I exclaimed, looking over at my boyfriend.

"But, I already have the cow. His name is Milky White, imagine having an actual cow in our production." Seb remarked beside me, resting his head on my shoulder.
