"嘘が明らかに"
━━━━━━Aether continued to stare at the person he knew as Noir, realizing his sister's words. He couldn't understand. If he knew lumine, why didn't he say anything? Why did he keep quiet on who she really was.
The archon sat on the floor, coughing as the abyssal power that had pushed him slowly vanished from his presence. However, in this state he easily expected what were to happen next. Aether grabbed him by the collar, growling in anger at the deity who kept his sister's whereabout secret.
"You— Why didn't you say anything?!"
Aether's tears stained his cheeks, but his rage and agony made him ignore the tears he shed. He was too angry at Noir— Astaroth who kept silent about it all. The god who said nothing.
"Noir— No. Astaroth."
Paimon trembled, unable to do anything but watch as her companion glare at Astaorth with such fury she had never seen before. He didn't act like this, even when Childe had betrayed them. Aether was kind, patient and brave, but seeing him so broken and angry made her feel guilt for constantly teasing him.
Astaroth just stared at the angry outlander who held him by his collar, slowly reaching his hand to the boys face. His pale hand cupped Aether's wet cheek, as the outlander froze to his touch.
"I couldn't say anything… You had to find out yourself."
Astaroth whispered, as softly as he could. He knew what the boy felt, and tried to be as gentle as possible. This pain and sorrow that ripped you apart was what he felt long before the Archon's rule.
Aether grit his teeth, drawing back his arm and harshly punching the archon. Paimon behind him gasped, trying to make him stop but Astaroth did nothing but let him. Aether's hand trembled, slumping as he cluched Astaroths clothes, crying into the Archons chest.
His entire person was trembling, yearning for his sister. He wished this was just another nightmare, but it was the cold reality that destroyed his hopes. All he wanted was to go home, reunite with his sister. If she didn't want to go with him, where would his hope be?
His friends back in Monstadt and Liyue were there for him, but very few tried to help. He had to save two nations, fight gods and dragons only to be treated as an errand boy.
Yet this person Infront of him...
"Lumine is the princess of the abyss. The abyss order's goal is to destroy humanity... Would you believe it if I had told you?"
Astaroth asked, wrapping his arms around Aether. He needed to steel himself, explain the cold and cruel truth about the lad's precious twin. Just as he accepted that his sister fell into the darkness he never wished for her to enter.
"Would you believe if I had told you... That the sweet, kind and wonderful sister of yours, lead an organization that wished for humanities end?" He asked him once more, as Aether's sobbing slowly turned into light whimpers. Aether's hands clutched even harder to Noir's clothes, shaking his head furiously.
He wouldn't believe that. He would never accept that his sister was someone seen as evil... The only thing that could make him believe it... Is for him to find out himself.
