The door met the ground with a loud crash, and broke into two parts.

Plaster particles shot up and dust surrounded the area.

I backed away, coughing. Waving the dust away, I squinted to see past the shrinking particles.

I then wandered over to the doorway, afraid of what lies behind it. I peeked my head out into the hallway.

I looked left. I looked right. It was a hospital hallway.

Fluorescent lights embroidered the hallway. It was pristine. The hallway seemed as if it was just cleaned. But it wasn't.

I took a step back into the room to look at the crazy clock. It still said 1:00.

I turned around and looked at my bed. I didn't need anything, so I left everything.

Stepping out into the hallway, I took some precaution. I squinted my eyes and shielded them from the blinding lights.

I took slow steps down the hallway, staggering between each one. Dark thoughts swirled through my mind.

Where was Luke?
What was he doing now?
Did he know I was here?
Did he know about the accident?

I shook my head and wafted away the sickly questions. I couldn't handle that whole situation now, I had to deal with this one.

As I looked further down the hall, a fresh set of double doors sat there.

Beaming, I limp-skipped to them.

I stopped at the doors, then slowly leaned against the handles. Before I pushed it open, I noticed something in the corner of my eye.

It was a clock.

The clock read 2:00
