I woke up in the same spot I had before.

I shook my head, exhausted. I thought about everything they discussed. About Luke. I tried not to care, but it was kind of hard not to.

I moved my head to the side, then my eyes closed. I thought for a moment. I thought I should get up and do something instead of being lazy.

Had we arrived at the Preservatory Lab yet?

I immediately shot up when I remembered that. Forgetting the time, I searched for a clock. Once I found one, I saw it read 4:00. Good, I guess. But I wasn't really sure.

Hopping down from the table, I made my way through the hallway.

"Hello?" I called, my voice echoing through parts of the ship. "Emma? Dylan?" I shouted, making my way around. "Emma?" I was confused. Where were they?

Jogging down the hallway, I looked in every door I came across. "Dylan!" I shouted, picking up my pace.

I ran to the cockpit. They weren't there. In a daze, the world started to spin. I shook my head. I needed to find them. Sprinting, I headed to the conference room. As I was about to reach it, I stopped to an abrupt halt. I heard Emma's voice.

"Over here, Cora." there was no emotion in her voice. I walked into the room next to the conference room. It was a mini computer room, with computers and three dimensional screens. Dylan and Emma sat crouched in front of one, memorizing something.

"Have you.. are we.." my voice trailed off as I struggled to process what they were looking at.

"Yeah, we're here." Emma spoke again, her voice monotone. They didn't move from where they stood. Not an inch.

Then suddenly, they turned around. They both had near death looks on their faces. Their faces were solemn.

"Cora, who's Luke?" Dylan spoke first, no ideal emotion in his voice.

"My.. Boy- I mean, fiancé." I corrected, and gulped.

"Cora, how do we know you're not lying to us?" Emma questioned, with extra emphasis on lying. She and Dylan stood up.

"I.. I'm not, I mean.. What's there to lie abo-" Dylan cut me off.

"Luke Whitewater?" He asked, staring holes into me with his suddenly dark eyes. I nervously gulped.

There was a deadly silence.

"Yes."

"Yup," Emma conceded, standing up with Dylan. "We know she's lying." They walked over to me, and my heart started pounding.

"What the -what are you guys doing?" I roared, backing up. Sadly, they were faster. Yanking me by my arms, they threw me to the ground.

"Let me go!" I screamed, trying to writher from their grasps. They dragged me and pulled me to god knows where, the whole time I'm thrashing and kicking.

"LET ME GO!" I shouted again, trying my best to get away from them. But they were stronger.. Always stronger.

Before I knew it, I was thrown into a cement block with rusty metal bars.
"Guys! What the heck? Why would you-" I shouted, then cut off by a rusty metal clink. I blinked in surprise, and sat up.

They threw me in a JAIL CELL! Astounded, I got up and scurried to the door.

"No, no, you can't do this. You can't do this! Please, no. No! NO!" I started shrieking as the shut the door to the whole jail block.

"Screw you!!" I screeched, slumping against the wall in defeat. "Screw your UGLY FACES!" I buried my fave in my hands and desperate sobs escaped me throat.

"Are you talking to me?" A little voice called, startling the life out of me. I thought I was alone. Looking up, I saw a younger girl. She had long, dark hair. She was stunning.

"My name is Shai, and I believe I can help you."
