Since it was only 6 am i didn't want to get dressed up. I go downstairs and hug mom again. "how long is the drive?" i ask "like 3 hours" she says and i nod. We eat pancakes for breakfast and then drive to uncle finneas and auntie claudias hause. It was about 7 am by now. We got in Finneas car and while we we're driving i feel asleep, resting my head on moms shoulder.

Y/n had fallen asleep on my shoulder. I moved her head on my lap, so she could sleep more comfortable. We got to the adoption center and i woke y/n up. "wake up, we're here baby" i said "okay" she groans. We got out of the car and i hold y/n's hand as we walk in. "hi which one of you is adopting?" the lady asks "we are" finneas says holding claudias hand. "okay, your name sir" the lady says "finneas o'connell" fin says and the lady does something in her ipad and then says "so... You're here to pick up Maria Johnson" finneas nods and the lady brings out this adorable girl.

"hi" the girl says shyly, she reminded me of the first time i met y/n she was also shy. "i'm claudia, this is finneas" claudia says pointing to finneas "that's billie, your aunt" she says pointing to me and i wave "and that is y/n, your cousin" claudia points next to me and y/n waves and the girl waves back. Finneas signs some papers and we go in the car. Y/n sits next to maria and me. Finneas and claudia in the front. "can i ask you something y/n" maria asks "yea, sure" y/n replies in a sweet tone "can i hug you?" she asks, that was so cute "of course, you don't have to ask" y/n says and wraps her arm around marias shoulder,till they both fall asleep. I took a picture, cuz they looked so cute. I fell asleep looking at them. When i woke up we we're at Finneas hause. The girls were still sleeping so i shook y/n and she woke up. "what?" she groaned "we have to go inside" i say laughing "are you not tired we woke up at 6 am?" y/n says "i just woke up" i say "oh okay" she says and i giggle. "wake maria up" i say "no, let her sleep" she says "fine" i say. We get out of the car y/n picks up maria and walks inside. She places her on the couch and puts a blanket over her. She soooo caring, i'm so proud to be her mom. Claudia, fin, y/n and i chat until, we heard screaming from maria. We all went to her quickly, but y/n ran as fast as she could. "wake up maria, wake up!" y/n says shaking her while maria screams and cries still sleeping. She finally woke up and hugged y/n, crying in her shoulder.
