Possibly a part 1/2? Depends on if I have the motivation to continue writing this ;-;

Of course this happens to you, fuck. You were almost home and realized you forgot something at Danny's house. You decided to just walk back there since he didn't live too far away. But you didn't think that through very well, since you're now a few streets away from his house and you're completely soaked because it started raining really hard out of nowhere. You just wanted to go home and lay down, it's late and you were tired. You've spent most of the day at Danny's house because he finally had the time to play D&D with you and some other friends. But you didn't know when you would be able to see Danny again and you did not feel good having your dice at his house for a possibly long time.

"They were a gift and fucking expensive to, I can't lose 'em" You muttered to yourself, wiping your wet hair out of your face. You finally reached Danny's house and ran the doorbell. It took a while before you could see someone walking up to the front door. When Danny opened the door he looked with a surprised but confused look. "What are you doing here?" He said "I thought you said you were tired and wanted to be home?" He stayed in the doorway while waiting for your answer, which bothered you a little bit because anyone could see you're clearly soaked and shivering.

"So nice of you to invite me in and get me out of the rain, Danny!" You said sarcastically "I'm not completely soaked and freezing or anything". Danny muttered an ''oh shit, sorry'' to himself before opening the door more to let you come inside. ''But to answer your question, I came back here to grab my dice bag that I left here and it started raining fucking hard when I was a few streets away from here.'' After you finished you sentence you could hear the thunder starting ''How wonderful, have to run back through rain AND thunder...''

''First of all, lemme get your jacket and get you into some dry, warm clothes. Then I'll help you find your dice and we'll figure the rest out'' Danny asks and takes your jackets and gestures you to follow him. He grabs some clothes from the closet in his bedroom ''You can go into the bathroom to change. We can out your clothes in the dryer to, hanging them out to dry will probably take ages. I'll start looking in the room we were in, see if I can find them.'' You walk into the bathroom to change out of your wet, cold clothes. You dry off as much as you can and put on Danny's clothes. They're too big on you, but since most of Danny's clothes are already a little big on him, that makes sense. But at least theyre comfortable and warm, you think to yourself.

''Any idea where you left them?'' He asks you as you walk into the room, you shrugged. ''No idea, we all know how good I am at losing things. I just know I didn't have them with me anymore, so they gotta be around here somewhere.'' You look around the room you played in, they're not on the table or on the chairs. And you honestly have no idea where else they could be. ''I went to go pee and they were laying on the floor in the bathroom? What the hell'' Danny laughed and held up your bag. ''I, uhm, think I left them there when I went to go pee before I left?'' You reply with a questioning look on your face, before letting out a laugh yourself.

''I hope my clothes are dry soon, so I can go back home... I wanna sleep'' You stretch and let out a yawn. Danny looks over at you and says ''It's storming and raining even harder than before and it's not stopping anytime soon either...'' He shows you his phone with the weather forecast ''I'm not letting you walk home and I also don't feel comfortable driving in this weather. So it looks like you're gonna have to stay the night here. You can leave whenever you want tomorrow, I don't have anything planned anyway''. You whine when you see what's on Danny's phone and mutter a ''Fuck'' under your breath.

'I got an extra toothbrush and everything for you, you'll be okay' Danny says, as a way of calming you down. You stretch again and fall down backwards on the couch, head landing near where Danny is sitting. 'Bit dramatic, don't you think?' He laughs at you. You reach your hand over to where he's sitting and try to hit him but he sees it and grabs your arm 'No hitting your sleepover host' you look at him and scrunch your face up. 'Wanna watch a movie or something? Pretty sure I still have some left over snacks from the session laying somewhere around here' You nod your head and reach over to grab the remote 'Suggestions?' You ask, Danny replies with a no and stands up to go look for the snacks.

Danny comes back into the room holding a bag of snacks and something that looks like a blanket. 'Should I get us some drinks?' You ask him, as you pause the intro of the movie already playing on the tv. 'Yes, please. I'm okay with some tea, or whatever you want' He places the snacks down in the coffee table in front of the couch and sits down, getting comfortable. A few minutes later you walk back into the room with two steaming cups of tea in your hand, you hand him one and sit down next to him. 'Thank you, wanna sit under the blanket to?' He holds up the blanket for you to crawl under, sitting even closer to him. 'Stop yawning so much' Danny says with a smile, before he reaches for the remote to start the movie 'I'll try' you respond.

You turn around to feel something very soft underneath you. You slightly open your eyes and take a moment to realise you're not in the living room anymore. 'It's a bed, idiot' You hear a voice behind you say, you turn back around to face Danny standing in the doorway, toothbrush in hand. 'You fell asleep like not even a third into the movie so I finished it by myself and dragged your ass to bed. You were in such a weird position on the couch to, How does your back not feel broken?' You mumble some words and plant your face into the pillow next to it. You hear his laugh fade out, along with the foot steps, probably to wash the toothpaste off his face.

You sit up and look for your phone on the nightstand, you check it but have no messages. 'No friends?' Danny asks and grabs your phone and tosses it on the bed 'Me either'. Danny is now in some shorts and a shirt, moving around to get comfortable in the bed. 'You don't have anything tomorrow that you need to wake up early for?' He asks to make sure. You shake your head no, and lay on your back 'I don't'. 'Well, if you want, we could get some breakfast together tomorrow? There's this new cafe thing that opened like last week and it looks really cute. I think you'd like it to' Danny grabs the covers and pulls it over him. 'You asking me out on a date?' You ask, followed by a laugh.  You look over to your right to see his reaction. 'Maybe?' He responds 'Depends on the answer, I guess', he moves one arm behind his head. 'I think it would be very fun to go to a cafe with you, yes'. You smile at him 'Just go to a cafe or go on a date?' He asks for reassurance, smiling when he hears you let out a small laugh. 'I'd like to go on a date with you to, dummy' 'Good... Great' He mumbles, barely above a whisper. 'Don't dream about it too much' Is the last thing you say before turning around and closing your eyes. Smile still present on your face as you try to fall asleep.
