He stood afar watching the duo hug each other, smiling at them, "I don’t know what was your past Hyung. But I do surely know what you meant for each other." Sparing a final glance at your figure he turned around walking away from the scene.

A figure bumped into his rock hard chest. "Ouch" rubbing her forehead she groaned.

"I’m sorry" he apologised. "I’m sorry too" she smiled sheepishly. The girl moved a step back revealing her face.

He couldn’t help but get lost in her beauty. "You look like." "I know I look like Y/N don’t I?" Her lips curved up in an evil smile. Getting close to him she tiptoed whispering, "But I’m not the Y/N of this birth. Rather the one from a previous birth.'' Jungkook's breath hitched.

Another figure approached them, he felt oxygen being knocked out of his lungs. "That’s me." "It indeed is you." Unlike his smiling aura, this Jungkook from the past had a devilish look. He wrapped his arms around the past Y/N bringing her in a chasty-hungry kiss.

Jungkook shut his eyes close cringing at the couple making out in front of him. "Open your eyes Jungkook." He felt her breath. "No" he whispered. Not liking anything that was going on around him. "You could stay with Y/N this birth. All you gotta do is kill your beloved Jin Hyung."

Jungkook’s eyes shot open hearing his past self said words, eyes darkening. "NO NEVER." He yelled at them. Your past self traced circles on Jungkook’s chest looking at him teasingly.

"Come on Jungkook, do it. You used to love me in our previous birth. But due to Jin you couldn’t achieve me. Neither did we have a happy married life. The person Jin saw in his dreams as Y/N’S husband was none other than you."

"SHUT THE FUCK UP- NO NO NEVER!" He tried running away from them. But it was like he was stuck in an abyss off memories. His past self showed scenes of him and you. The way you cried on his chest after finding out Jin’s fallacy, you were cheating on him yet he let it go.

Because you were never his to begin with. "Now would you like to kill Jin and have Y/N or be the loser again in this birth? Look at them?" The male pointed at the figure of you and Jin hugging near the fountain, lost in your own thoughts.

Jungkook’s heart unknowingly clenched. He wanted you but he couldn’t get you again even in this birth. "But how did you both survive? Didn’t Y/N kill herself before Jin Hyung?" Unknowingly to his conscience he sniffled, asking this question.

"A very good question. You see, the universe gives everyone a chance to correct their mistakes, so did it to me after both Y/N and Jin Hyung’s death. But I had to pay a price for it. It was simple. I had to kill Jin Hyung after he cheated on Y/N."

"You did what?" Jungkook was frightened by now, never would he ever think to kill his own brother. His surroundings had changed now he was standing in a room in nowhere with green light surrounding him. By now, Jungkook knew this couldn’t be him, from the past.

He loved his brother more than anything. The thought of killing him was more than enough to kill himself. "Be a winner Jungkook, not a loser. Snatch away what belongs to you either by hook or crook."

The male sat on a black table with his legs crossed kissing the lady resting on his thigh whom he claimed to have been his lover in the past. "Go ahead" he gave a dagger to Jungkook, smirking at him. "Kill him and get what rightly belongs to you from the start. You’ll have Y/N like you always desired."

Pecking the lady's lip, both of them disappeared in the black. He didn’t know where they went? But their words resonated in Jungkook’s ears. "Kill Jin Hyung? Take what’s yours." His mind played games with him. Showing various scenarios of you and him.

Him hugging and cuddling you, loving you. You only belonged to him like he always desired. Or did he really? His feet started moving back to the direction where you both stood smiling at each other with tear stained faces.

"I'm sorry Hyung." He positioned the dagger on his back ready to strike it across his spine but heard a loud yell. The world around him started shaking, turning everything upside down.

"Jungkook wake up. Jungkook-ah." Feeling his arm being shaken vigorously, Jungkook's eyes shot wide open as he jolted up from his sleep. "Hana." He breathed out looking at his pregnant wife, giving him weird questioning looks. Most importantly she was worried.

"You- what are you doing here Hana?" He asked questioningly.
"Yah how could you say that to your pregnant wife? Don’t you love me anymore?" Her eyes started getting teary he quickly acknowledged what he said bringing her in his embrace.

"I’m sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you. It’s just that I had a dream in which-" He didn’t know what to tell his wife.

"I was so worried when you weren’t waking up, and sweating a lot. I won't ever let you nap during the day. Your little nap ended up being a 10 hour long sleep, frightening me. If you hadn’t woken up now, I’d probably have called the ambulance."

Her tears wet his sweatshirt, running his hand up and down her back he tried calming her down. "You know I had this weird dream in which I loved Y/N and tried killing Jin Hyung." He whispered lowly. Ashamed to have dreamt of another girl while having his pregnant wife, worrying about him.

She frowned, pulling away from the hug. "Jeon Jungkook. Y/N is your cousin Jin’s wife. And the thing you're talking about is their recent movie’s plot." A smile curved up her lips, chuckling , the next movement hitting his chest lightly with her fist. "Jin would surely beat you up knowing you dreamt about his beloved wife."

She already imagined Jin beating Jungkook, while she tried stopping him. "I’m sorry, love!" His lips formed a thin line, placing a hand on her baby bump. "I love you and only you." Their lips connected, kissing each other.

"Oh My God Y/N we came at the wrong time." Jin yelled, closing his eyes with his right palm while the other one secured your eyes, avoiding you from sinning. The couple quickly break the kiss, blushing. "Hyung you can open your eyes now." "Oof- thank God." Jin said dramatically. His actor instincts surfacing up. "Now shall we have dinner?" You asked the couple trying to break the awkward tension in the air. "Sure."

Finally they were a happy family. No cheater, no betrayal, nothing. Jungkook was indeed happy; it was a dream and nothing more. You were happy with your love so was he. Happy endings do exist, but it comes with perseverance and hardships. The fruit of love tasted in the aftermath shall forever remain the sweetest.
