"I love you Y/N!" His shivering figure said the frustrating feelings his heart had hidden. I was numb at my spot, trying to understand what he meant.

"I know it’s too early, but since the time I’ve encountered my path with you, I can’t help but get the feeling of being connected to you. It's like I have known you forever." His voice held no remorse or any sort of distraught, wanting to take back his words.

"Y/N," turning my numb figure he looked into my eyes. "Will you give this cheater another chance, to set everything right. I know mistakes can’t be forgiven or forgotten but this birth, I don’t wanna be the Kim Seokjin you hated with every nerve vessel of your body. Rather the one, who’s the cause of your happiness and smile."

To say I was shocked was less of a statement. What does he mean by cheater? The tranquility of yearning love had blinded him with lies, I guess. Wanting to seek answers for the mystery behind his questions.

I looked into his eyes, the pain finally setting itself free. Tears clouded his vision cascading down his cheeks, dampening the once milky skin making it pink. His cries were silent, yet I couldn't bring myself to wipe them. It was like, a force was holding me back, telling me he deserved it.

But why? Giving up on my conscience I let my thumb finally trace along his skin, getting rid of any trail his tears decided to leave. Scars aren’t after all easy to heal. And his seemed way too harsh.

"Revenge is sweet but the pain felt in the aftermath is sweeter isn’t it Jin?" His eyes looked at me, pupils dilating. "These were the same words I told myself in our previous life. I was so blind to make you feel the same pain I felt. When in reality I was hurting myself the most." His lips were slightly ajar, looking at me questioningly.

"You aren’t the only one who suffered through nightmares Jin. So did I, but it wasn’t until the day when I came across a caring Jungkook at your party and faced reality. It was like I knew him for a long time, the one who stood by my side, wiping away my tears. But I didn’t deserve him, neither in that birth nor in this. We were one ugly unwanted cheaters weren’t we Jin?"

My lips curved up a painful smile. Walking ahead, to where the fountain is. "You know why did I choose my path once again with you? In spite of knowing you could hurt me again?" He followed my figure standing beside me, his head hanging low.

It’s rightly said no matter what amount of good deeds you do, your past shall always haunt and hunt you down. Killing your sane consciousness, spreading misogyny and fallacy again. And Jin was the living example of it.

His past birth deeds followed him the same way it did to me.
"The girl in that cafe who came to get our order, was the same person who you cheated on me with, wasn't it?" He nodded his head.

"But, I’m glad you didn’t dare look at her this birth. I won’t ask you to promise me to stay loyal this birth rather choose what you really want. Will you let everything repeat or start a new beginning in this life?"

Hearing my words he lifts his head up, looking at me with his teary orbs. "Are you willing to give me a second chance?" "If you were to ask the same question to the previous life Y/N, then; NO!! NEVER!!"

"Because we both were cheaters. But destiny decided to give us another chance, a new life to mend everything and start a new. You better not let me regret giving you this chance Kim Seokjin."

My voice was stern or so I thought. Damn! How did I manage to turn out so serious? Intending to continue my words my lips parted ready to speak but he had already engulfed me in his arms.

"Thank you, I’ll make everything right. I’ll forever be by your side. My promises won’t be false this time. I’ll implement them all in actions proving to you, you're meant only to be mine."

His tears had dampened my shoulders. Silent tears escaped my eyes. Letting my pain out relentlessly. "I hope you make it right this time Jin. I really hope you do."
