You admired the snowflake shaped flowers that danced around you as you walked throughout the fresh fields, the sunset comes to paint the sky, showing colours representing romance.

There stood Itachi Uchiha, awaiting by the lake's edge with his back facing you, his long black tied up hair blowing in the evening's wind.

"It looks nice out here." You point out, seeing he was working on something.

He hummed in response. "Here, I have something for you, love." Itachi flashes you a smile, watching as you stepped to him.

"What is it?"

Itachi placed a hand on your shoulder, having you hold still while he nestles something into your hair. "There you go... you look gorgeous." He whispers, cherishing the smile you gave him.

You attempted to touch the object and take it out to observe what it was, but he was quick to stop you, grasping your wrist.

"I will show you later, [Y/N]." Not letting go of your wrist, he leads you away from the lake, noticing the sunset was ruined and painted over by dull clouds.

Sticking your hand flat out, droplets of moisture hit your skin, they increased as you and Itachi continued to walk.

Being lost in viewing the lake from afar, the tears that fell from the sky's clouds stopped soaking you, Itachi had summoned an umbrella and hung it over the two of you.

"This is the place." The entrance to the village stood tall, traditional lights hanging around on houses and restaurants.

"A festival?"

"Yeah, I knew it was happening this evening, so I thought of taking you here."

【 TIMESKIP 】

Itachi dragged the chair out from the table, allowing you to sit down, he pats your shoulder, leaning to plant a long-awaited kiss on your cheek.

He sits himself down, running a hand through his straight black hair.

"This place is nice, Itachi... But, are you sure you're allowed to be doing this?"

"Doing what, dear?"

"Loving someone, and seeing them outside of the Akatsuki." You point out, his serious facade does not falter.

"Our love is forbidden... but.." He trails off.

"I would go full lengths just to love and be with you, [Y/N]. Please, do not worry about what my leader thinks." The words of assurance made you nod and avert your attention to the menu.

【 TIMESKIP 】

You and Itachi laughed the night away, hands intertwined while strolling throughout the village's streets. And he knew very well that some of the Akatsuki members were spying on him from a bush, but he did not give a care about them. His only thoughts were on you, and making you happy.

"Is Itachi smiling? Who the fuck is that person?" Hidan focuses the binoculars onto you.

"Give me those binoculars, I wanna see them, un." Deidara snatches them from the Jashinist, he curses him out but nonetheless allows him have a look.

"...Itachi is lucky, hm." The blond admits, Hidan agrees and goes to speak.

"We should get them to join the Akatsuki, so I can ask them to—"

"No." Deidara interjects, dismissing Hidan's dirty thoughts.

Arriving back at the same location you first found Itachi at, he brings you closer to the water's edge. "Come, have a look at what I put into your hair."

You stare at your reflection, realising Itachi nestled a small periwinkle coloured Hydrangea into your hair, seeing that it was in the shape of a heart.

"It looks gorgeous, Itachi, thank you." Throwing yourself into his arms as a way of showing your appreciation, he returns your hug, the corners of his lips curving upwards into a smile.

Itachi changes his hand replacement, and puts it on the lower half of your back, pulling you in closer to his face, allowing you to analyse his onyx eyes.

He puts his forehead against yours, his free hand crawling up the side of your neck. "Even if I have to die someday, I will still love you, in the afterlife."
