chapter 2: The first meeting

Kim Jisoo...

The sun was up and the house was awake. Mr. Kim was at work Mrs. Kim was in the kitchen and Jin and Jisoo were getting ready for school. It was just then when Mrs. Kim realized that Mr. Kim had forgotten his lunch at home. "JISSOOO HONEYY" she called out for her daughter. "COMING MUMM" she replied. Soon after Jisoo came pacing down the stairs and jumped in front of her mother and asked what was wrong she explained the situation and asked Jisoo if she could drop it off to him on the way to school "of course I can" she said sweetly and was swiftly on her way...

Jennie Kim...

On the other hand, Jennie had been sitting in her father office balling her eyes out only to have a cold shoulder given to her as her father just watches her break down in front of him " dad please try and understand they make me feel less suffocated, I need them PLEASE " accidentally raising her voice. her dad rolled his eyes explaining that "those cigarettes you have in your mouth 24/7 are not going to do you no good and how dumb of you to hide them under your PILLOW were the maid clearly found them!", Jennie knew that crying over a small piece of tobacco was stupid but they played a big part in her life, they were there when she needed her pain eased, they made her feel sane, they had her addicted. With seeing no point in showing her weakness in front of someone who clearly does not care she took her leave but not forgetting to slam the door on the way out stating her anger loud and clear.

Jisoo's POV...

I was on the bus waiting for my stop to arrive when suddenly my bus took a harsh stop everyone was shocked as they fall or hold on to their seat for dear life only to find out that this was all caused by a pedestrian that refused to wait until the green light I wonder why she was in such a mood I could practically hear her stomping her feet loudly on the pavement worried she might crack the underneath due to how angry she was.

5 mins later 

I was reaching my last stop as I admired the city and just how open and beautiful it was, my bus came at a stop and I made my exit straight to Kim Enterprise, and WOW was this building lavish. I walked in and went straight to my father's office to hand him his lunch, but when I entered, I noticed that he was not there, I asked a member of staff where he was and they informed me that he was in the CEO'S office I thanked them and made my way straight to the CEO'S office.

I gently knocked on the door not wanting to startle anyone and waited for a command to enter. I opened the door when I heard a deep voice say "COME IN" once I had entered I bowed respectfully "sorry for disturbing you I had just come to give my father his lunch that he had forgotten at home" I spoke respectfully. "No problem at all we were just finishing anyways he's all yours," he said kindly. I walked up to my father and handed him his lunch and said "don't forget again father I think you might be getting a lil old" I teased he chuckled and ruffled my hair and said "Don't worry I won't and about getting old, I'm still as young as a teenager." he joked. he introduced me to the CEO and we greeted each other. He sighed and spoke in a monotone voice "If only my daughter was like you" I just stood there and smiled awkwardly not really sure how to respond

After a few minutes, we bid our goodbyes and I left the office and decided to walk the rest of my way to school on the way I found myself getting thirsty due to the hot sun that gently shuns on me, and to top it off I was on my feet so I was definitely stopping for a nice cold water I was just waiting for a shop to appear. 

a couple of seconds later...

"finally oh my that took forever to spot" I practically ranted out loud. I enter the shop and the bell ring indicating that I had entered through the door I headed straight for the drink "flavored water or just water hmm" my debate on what water to get was interrupted as I heard two voices argue back and forth, my curiosity lead me to where the voice was coming from only to spot a slender figure with long brown wavy hair facing their back towards me and the shop keeper arguing "JUST GIVE ME A PACK BEFORE I GET YOU FIRED" she angrily spat at the shop keeper, "please try to understand all the shops in this area are run under your father and we have been informed to not give you any cigarettes" he gently explained to her WAIT WHAT CIGARETTES! this loud ruckus was caused over something that could harm you and your life ugh pathetic, I return to go get my water and go with strawberry-flavored water. I made my way to pay as I was now officially running late, which I hated because I was a model student, and model students are never late. reaching the till the two have not given up and I spoke up " could I please pay for this water ? " my voice didn't seem to catch their attention so I clear my throat and say a little louder " CAN I PLEASE PAY !? " when finally they both turned to look at my annoyed figure at that moment I saw the girl, the girl that had been appearing in my life all day today and she was absolutely captivating. 

we locked eyes.
