chapter 1: Two different worlds

Jennie Kim...

Everyone thought she was the perfect girl with perfect grades and perfect life. Who would've known that her life beyond school wasn't quite the same? Jennie Kim the school's most popular girl, or at least the side of her she displayed to the world, was in real life a statute slowly deteriorating but it was in the eye of love that could spot her, Jennie's life at home was not very homely at all. Her father was a very respectable CEO and her mother was a very famous fashion designer, because of this they were never home and never gave her the attention she craved for, no comfort or solidarity to ease her mind when going through her high school rough patches. the one thing that was unfortunately there for her through her tough times was a cigarette that stole all her problems only to use them as a disadvantage by making her health slowly break down within too. She has one very close friend and that is Park Chaeyoung her best friend she helps Jennie through everything (when she opens up about it) and never leaves her side. 

That sums up Jennie Kim's hard life, for now, will something or perhaps someone be able to change this?

Kim Jisoo...

Kim Jisoo was an angel in disguise who saw beyond Jennie's fake smile and instead detected an aching heart desperate for love which she had enough to share. Jisoo was an orphan who grew up in a church. One Sunday service God finally listened to her prayers and sent a couple through the church doors. The Kim couple were here to pray for a child because Mrs. Kim was infertile and unable to have any kids of her own and they were yet to find a child to adopt which was of their preference. Suddenly one young girl dressed in a white dress at the front of the church caught Mrs. Kim's eyes she walked up to the child and overheard her prayers of wanting a loving family and how she would ask for nothing else. Mrs. Kim instantly knew she was the one and walked up to Jisoo and knelt in front of her and held her small frail hands. She spoke gently and asked whether she would like to come home with them, the two instantly fell in love and Mrs. Kim carried Jisoo up to Mr. Kim and Jisoo told him everything about herself and they all immediately clicked and acted as they knew each other for years the couple told them they had an (adopted )son named Kim Seokjin and he was a little older than Jisoo, she was super excited to meet him and couldn't believe that the family she always wished for about to be her sweet reality. 

Years passed and they are now a happy, healthy family. Mr. and Mrs. Kim, Jin and Jisoo. Jisoo has grown up into a very caring, loving, and beautiful woman who is kind to everyone no matter what they're like. Mr. Kim works for a very big company and Mrs. Kim is a housewife. Jisoo and Jin have a very close sibling bond and love each other dearly Jin is also very protective of his younger sister and Is almost like a third parent. They do not have the most money, being working-class, but they do have a lot of love for each other and don't hesitate to show it. Throughout the years Jisoo has made another close relationship and that is with Lalisa Manoban they are best friends closer to sisters and share everything with each other. 

SO that's Jisoo's life all summed up and sounds great but who knows maybe someone could make it better.

two souls were on the way to be connected to for a lifetime, but it's the way life works that will bring all sorts of challenges on them becoming one. will they pass life's test and become a happy couple despite being from two different worlds?
