chapter 3: Coincidence?

Jennie Kim POV...

I was in the middle of an argument with the shopkeeper when a deep, sweet yet husky voice spoke over us grabbing our attention. I faced her and we stared into the eyes of each other for what seemed like a lifetime before I willingly broke it with a fake cough and then glared at her in annoyance. "What?!" I spat bitterly since I was already not In the mood especially not for an 'admirer'. Silence. "WHAT!!??" I angrily said as she didn't reply the first time the girl seemed starstruck like she had just witnessed an angel on earth or something by the way she was looking at me. I for sure was no angel so why was she glued to me?. I had to say the girl in front of me was stunning but I would obviously never admit that because why would I.  

"I-I'm-uh-I'm I'm sorry I-I was just wanting to pay for my drink I didn't mean to disturb your conversation I'm sorry", she stuttered out. "Yeah well, you did so do what you want to do and get the hell OUT!". She flinched at my sudden rise of tone and with that, she put her change on the counter and took off running "hehe" I giggled under my breath but soon displayed my cold facial expression once again as I spotted the shopkeeper giving me the awkward side-eye "IM NOT DONE WITH YOU ".

Kim Jisoo POV...

Dashing out of the store and heading on my route to school I couldn't stop thinking about the incident that had just occurred, her face replayed in my head, yes her tone was a bit harsh but I heard the sweetness of her voice behind all that anger, her sharp facial feature complimented by her milky white skin and silky locks went together harmoniously when combined together. I mean she was ......... perfect.  My never-ending thought on her made me not realize that I had reached my school's front gate "finally here" I sighed as I knew I would have to sign in through the late entrance gate and so I did and headed straight to my English class.  

(TIME SKIP )

AUTHOR'S POV...

Several minutes had passed and Jisoo was now finally sitting in her English class after convincing her new English teacher that it would not happen again and finding her new seat. At the moment she was sitting alone but was told that she had a partner, Jisoo wasn't too worried about her partner because she was friends with nearly everyone in the class, being the pleasant girl she is. There were 20 minutes of the lesson remaining when someone walked into the classroom and just stood there staring blankly at the teacher.

"Excuse me did you not think of knocking before you came in" the teacher scolded "No I didn't" the girl replied dryly. "Who are you and why did you just barge into the classroom" 

Kim Jennie POV...

Gosh, this teacher was getting on my last nerve, why was everyone testing me today. Dryly I spoke out facing the class "Hi, I'm Kim Jennie I have recently transferred to this school, let's get along" I then end my sentence by putting on a fake smile. Throughout the class, I heard gasps and gossip being whispered ear to ear, something along the lines of "She's the rich girl", "Her dads a hot CEO",  "Her mum has like a really high brand clothing line oh my god I'm her mums biggest fan". I laughed to myself as these obvious facts made my ego and pride rise to the max, I could already sense the type of treatment I was going to receive here and that was ROYALTY, I secretly smirk as everyone just stared at me. I scan the classroom for at least one decent face, ugh someone who wasn't drooling over me or my lifestyle, and that when my gaze met hers .... again and all she did once again was just stare. "who is she?" I whispered to myself.

Kim Jisoo...

We met once again, It was like the world had stopped and it was now only me and her in the room, I couldn't resist staring, she was beautiful and now we went to school together ! The thought of seeing her 5 days a week brought a light red tint to my cheeks and a small grin on my face. 

AUTHOR'S POV...

The teacher had had enough with the distractions in this lesson today so she strictly spoke "Thank you for the introduction Jennie it is a pleasure to have you" Jennie being Jennie held up her attitude and rolled her eyes. "Now where should I seat you?" the teacher spoke to herself "AH YES go take a seat next to Jisoo she's the topper in the whole class so you'll learn nothing but greatness sitting next to her".

Jennie Kim pov 

"Jisoo? " I spoke looking at the teacher confused not knowing who she spoke about that's when the teacher asked Jisoo to raise her hand then I turned my body to take a look and the only hand that was up was.... hers.

Oh my was it a coincidence.
