"This will be one long morning..."
Gojo muttered to the empty air, as he was once again in the familiar elevator. Sometimes, he wonders if it would be better that he just teleported to the office. No waiting, no hassle, pretty much does nothing to his reservoir of cursed energy. Maybe next time I'll do that. A familiar ding sounded as the doors slid open, Gojo entering shortly after.
"Ah, Gojo, you're here. You encountered the woman in question, correct?"
Ozpin spoke, Ironwood and Glynda in front of his desk. The clear blue sky was all that could be seen through the windows, shadows of gears overhead casted over the room.
"Yes, straight to business I assume?"
"What the General has just recounted to us has been sent to your scroll to save time."
Gojo took out his scroll, briefly skimming through the report, getting a grasp on the situation at hand. It simply confirmed what he had seen the night before; she was the same woman who he had fought with Glynda and Ruby the first time they met.
"Looks like she's an old friend of ours."
"You know her?"
The General now looked towards him with intrigue, however Ozpin and Glynda understood.
"It seems we'll have to wait for our fundamental eyewitness to arrive before we set anything in stone. For now, Gojo, if you could explain your 'inherited' technique to General Ironwood, and what you saw?"
He nodded, giving them all a brief repeat of what he had spoke yesterday. Now that they had been informed, all that was left was for Ruby to arrive.
"Then there are three of them in your school, Ozpin."
"Two suspects, and one which is waiting on a witness' statement. For all we know, they could simply be innocent 'friends' caught up in the act."
"Ozpin, they're already here! We cannot simply just sit and do nothing; we need to take action!"
"And we'll take that action once we are sure of who we need to find. This is not something we can impulsively send troops out against! Your soldiers couldn't even stop her, let alone stall!"
Gojo quietly stood back, letting them argue. It seems their age-old relationships were only heightening their anger for one another, if Ozpin and Glynda's fury at the General was anything to point at.
"So you think your students are more prepared? They have yet to experience the true world of being a Hunter-"
"Do NOT bring them into this. I am not implying that they will fight, what I am saying is that you don't go answering everything with your military!"
There was a small pause, creating a deafening silence. Sighs were heard, as the temperature once again rose. Gojo hoped he wouldn't be brought into this-
"You've always been like this, Ozpin. Even going to the point of bringing in this man of which we know nothing of! A background of Grimm- how can you even trust him?"
Gojo's eyebrow twitched, but it was hidden behind his blindfold. Of course, the moment he thinks of such things, it'd happen.
"No offense, General, but can you really speak? You haven't even worked with me up until this point."
