a/n : i still can't decide regarding glynda and gojo... but otherwise, seriously, thank you for all the support!
"The ball will begin in a couple of hours, Satoru. It'd be best you go prepare."
"Hmm? Prepare what, a suit and tie?"
"Would you prefer a dress?"
"I look good either way~"
Glynda snorted. She had decided to call him Satoru when they were not in public, due to Ozpin doing so (although she wouldn't admit she was at least a bit fond of him). Gojo tagged along with Glynda as she had been going to visit Ozpin to remind him of the ball. (Not like he would forget). As they waited in the elevator, Gojo pulled off his blindfold, replacing it with his sunglasses. He ruffled his hair, perfectly timed as not a moment later the elevator dinged.
"I have stationed guards around the campus, and some will be within the ballroom."
"I hope by 'guards', you do not mean your whole military force."
"Of course, but safety should be prioritized."
The doors slid open, as Glynda and Gojo entered. Ironwood's attention turned to them, as did Ozpin who remained in his seat. Gojo waved, as Glynda simply nodded her greeting.
"Yo, Oz! You joining us for the ball?"
"Of course. I am the headmaster, after all."
James stood hesitantly at the side, observing the interactions. Since when did they get so close? His attention returned as Glynda cleared her throat.
"Would you rather Satoru and I go ahead, or shall we wait for you?"
"There is still time."
He pulled out two more cups, pouring tea into them before sliding them to Gojo and Glynda. Meanwhile, Ironwood glanced at Gojo with a slight scorn. Last that he knew of, Glynda referred to him as 'Gojo', not 'Satoru'. Gojo, the man in question, simply brushed off his glance, but caught his eye moving to Glynda, his expression softening before the General returned to Ozpin. Ah, I see, lovers quarrel then, huh. He'd be sure to tease him during the ball, if he were to attend.
For now, Gojo stood to the side, leaning on the wall as he observed the turning gears in the roof, Glynda joining him (oh, wasn't Ironwood going to hate that!). Inwardly, he chuckled, taking a sip of the tea.
"Are all the students going to be attending?"
"Most of them will be. It's a good time for them to relax."
Not to mention, there will probably be some hearts broken tonight... There was an hour remaining until the doors would open. Ironwood finished his conversation, leaving, but without waving at Glynda first, who nodded with a bitter grin.
"See you at the ball, Glynda."
With his final words of parting, the doors closed. Once he had left, Ozpin stood and straightened out his coat, reaching for his cane. Now prepared, he smiled towards the two bystanders.
"Shall we go?"

The ballroom had been lavishly yet simply decorated, ceilings draped, balloons tied to the walls, and a grand chandelier in the center. There was a large space in the center (most likely for dancing), tables with seats to match on the side. Gojo could also spy a punch bowl. Very few people currently occupied the room, mostly being the 'guards' that the General had been referring to, however they looked as if they were bumbling, gossiping idiots. Is the General that bad?
