Chapter 9
Six months had passed. Adam took Behati to the hospital for their second ultrasound. She was already in her seventh month. Last month, on May, they've learned that they’re probably having a baby girl. And now, they’ll be getting a clearer view of their baby. Adam was holding Behati’s arm while they watch the baby inside her in one of screens in the hospital. Both of them are so excited.
They can’t wait anymore to finally have the baby in their arms. Behati looked at Adam and she could feel his excitement. She was so happy for them. Last month, Adam proposed to her. The day before they've learned their baby is going to be girl. He asked her to marry her. She was so happy when he saw the diamond ring he held in his hands. It was so beautiful. Without any word, she said “yes.” There’s nothing she could ask for anymore. She promised him that they’ll be a happy family. Adam kissed her on the lips. She loved it so much.
Christina was at Australia. There are still a few more countries to go for her tour. At the hotel room, she wasn't feeling well. She was feeling a little dizzy. Thankfully, the show was already done and now she could take a rest. Tomorrow, she will fly to Philippines then after that she’ll be touring Europe then back to USA. She took her phone and opened twitter. She tweeted a picture of her and Max when they arrived at Australia. She thanked her fans who went to her tour and said she had much fun. Then, she saw a reply from Blake.
“Hey! We've missed you so much!” Blake tweeted.
“ I've missed you too! Let’s go fishing then when I get back. This time, let’s make it happen! =) XoXtina,” she replied. She remembered that they’re probably doing season 4. She hadn't watched television since she started touring. She wondered how they’re doing now that she and Cee-lo had gone.
Weeks had passed, and more weeks had passed and then boom, she’s back in US. It’s already August when she got back. She had missed all her friends. She called Blake as soon as she arrived.
“Hey, bro, when are we going fishing?” she asked.
“You home now? Wow! We can do it tomorrow, if you want,” Blake said.
“Tomorrow? Already?”
“Yes!”
“Alright then. I will still bring Max okay?”
“Sure. Bring whoever you want!”
The next morning, Christina was already packing her things up when Max showed up in her room.
“Where are we going mommy?” he asked.
“We’re going fishing,” she said excitedly.
“Yes! Who are coming with us?”
“Obviously, Blake. And I don’t know who else, baby. But I’m sure it will be fun.” She took Max’s hands and they went downstairs. She grabbed some foods and they were ready to go. Finally, for the first time in this year, she’ll finally have some leisure time. When they arrived at Blake’s house, they found him fixing his fishing rod.
“Looks like there’s a problem,” Christina chirped in.
“Oh, you figured?” Blake laughed. “Um, yea, unfortunately, it’s broken,” he said guiltily.
“So, we’re not going fishing?”
“We can do something else if you want. Besides, Cee-lo is on his way now.”
“Oh, Cee-lo is coming? That would be fun!” she cheered like a little girl on a party.
“Hey baby, we’re not going fishing anymore. You can blame him,” she said to Max pointing at Blake.
