Jaune scrambled backward in fright as the dead bride reached her arm out toward him.

"No stay back!" Jaune yelled as he got to his feet.

"What? But I-"

"N-no get away!" He said before he took off down the path.

"Wait come back!" The bride called.

Jaune ignored her though and kept running.

The bride picked up her fallen arm and followed after the young man.

Jaune ran faster than he'd ever before, stealing glances behind him to see if the mysterious bride was following. Which, unfortunately, she was. She was smiling widely and had her arms held out open as if trying to give the panicked man a hug.

Jaune cried out in fear and accidentally walked into a tree, "oww..." he muttered as he fell backwards onto his behind.

"Stay right there! I'm coming!" The bride called out to him.

Jaune quickly got to his feet once more, "No you don't have to do that! Just stay there!" He stammered as he stood back up.

He tore a small hole in his jacket on some brambles, but he figured he could deal with that when he wasn't being chased by an undead bride.

He finally made it out of the woods and stopped at a bridge to catch his breath. The young man was also relieved to see that the mysterious woman was nowhere to be found.

"Oh thank the gods I didn't actually bring a zombie bride back to life. It was all a weird hallucination."

"What's a zombie?" Asked a voice.

Jaune screamed as he turned and saw the undead bride standing directly behind him.

The woman walked closer to him and placed her hands on his shoulders as a flock of ravens and crows began surrounding the twosome.

"You may kiss the bride," the woman said as she leaned in.

Jaune felt ice cold lips touch his own and everything went dark.
