Chapter 3

"Jayden Hudson Velasco sent you a friend request."

Mel's POV

"Speed naman to." I whispered to myself and chuckled.

Hindi ko na muna in-accept yung friend request sa 'kin ni Hudson. Instead, I just decided to sleep para maaga ako bukas sa school.

Pagkagising ko, I prepared my things for school. This time, ginamit ko na yung bag na binili ko last summer. It was a Herschel mid-sized ash rose colored backpack.

I took a shower, changed into my clothes, fixed my hair, and put on a light make up. Since second day of school pa lang, hindi pa required na mag uniform kaming mga freshmen so hindi na rin muna ako nag uniform. I wore a pair of white skinny jeans, a plain beige sweater, and a pair of white shoes. I kept it simple and comfortable for today kasi after class, mamimili kami ni Faye ng materials sa isang nearby bookstore.

I didn't have time to eat breakfast again because I woke up late. Kanina pa tawag nang tawag sa phone ko si Faye. Buti na lang at tumawag siya kasi baka tuluyan na 'kong na late sa second day of class. 

"Buti naman at sinagot mo na ang tawag ko. I've been trying to call you kanina pa. Asa'n ka na ba?" Faye asked.

"I'm on my way. I overslept, okay? I'l explain later sa school. Wait for me" Sagot ko naman.

I was walking to the main door para maka punta na sa garage. I stopped when mom spoke.

"Hindi ka ulit mag-b-breakfast?"

"I'm running late for school. I'll eat there nalang. Bye" I answered briefly and rushed to my car para makaalis na.

As usual, nothing interesting happened today. We got to meet our profs and we were introduced to the subjects that we'll be taking. Our profs also gave us lists of the most important materials that we will be using for this sem. Honestly, it was boring.

After class, Elvis texted Faye and I, at ang sabi niya ay mag meet up daw kami sa gazebo na malapit sa school.

Pagdating pa lang namin, Elvis was already carrying a box of pizza and three milk teas. 

"Hi! Sorry about last night, I had to let some shit out. Anyway, to make it up to the both of you, here! Nagpadeliver ako ng food!" Pinakita ni Elvis ang mga dala dala niya kaya the three of us sat down at nagsimula nang kumain.

"What?!" 

"Who's the guy? Do you even know his name?" 

I told Faye and Elvis about what happened last night and as expected, shock na shock yung dalawa. Muntik pang nabulunan si Elvis kaya inabutan ko ng water bottle.

"Woah, calm down nothing happened. Lumabas lang kami." I explained.

"Eh pa'no ba naman kasi, girl. Iniwan lang kita para ihatid tong lasing na 'to tapos malalaman ko nalang ngayon na nakipag hang out ka pala with some guy that you barely even know. What the heck? So who's the guy nga?!" Concern na pagkakasabi ni Faye.
