"Hello Silver," growled Storm as he looked across at the pale grey she-cat that was once his former denmate and friend. Her pretty pelt seemed ragged and torn and her eyes were completely hostile and dull. Where's Dark? Suddenly a chill ran down his spine as he remembered the cat that was Silver's brother. "Whe-," he was instantly cut off as he felt something large and strong knock him over only to be quickly followed by an agonizing pain that erupted in his belly. Instantly fueled by rage, he glared over with furious eyes to see a ginger tom shredding his claws down Storm's stomach, there was a hint of malice in his eyes that made Storm freeze. That look... its....
"Storm! Snap of it and fight!" Storm's eyes widened when he heard Bramble's voice jerk him back to reality. Focusing his gaze on the ginger tom he sank his claws and teeth into the cats shoulder and when he heard the cat hiss in pain he quickly shifted his shoulders and managed to flip the cat over so that Storm could be above him. The cat then began to lash out at him as Storm held him trapped below within his grip, and when the two cats eyes met he could clearly see hatred, rage and malice consume the cats eyes. A flash of pale grey appeared in the corner of his eye and he quickly dodged backwards as Silver sailed past him. Ears flat, Storm began to back up as the ginger tom, who had instantly leapt to his paws the moment Storm had stepped back and Silver, who had quickly regained her senses, began to stalk towards him. Storm quickly glanced at each of them measuring their sizes and trying to find the best way of escaping his 2 on 1 circumstance. The ginger tom was about the same size as him, however his shoulders were much broader with a very long tail and he seemed to be less graceful than Storm was; Silver on the other hand was a different case altogether, she was small and nimble and had a depth to her movements that Storm could not even come close too. I'll have to take down the tom first... He thought while flexing his claws and snarling at the two cats.
"Enough stalling!" Shrieked Silver as she instantly darted towards Storm, the ginger tom flanking her as she ran the short stretch of grass that separated her from Storm. Narrowing his eyes, Storm watched them approach, a strategy now developing in the back of his mind. When Silver was barely a mouse length away from him, he quickly whipped to the side opposite of the ginger tom while narrowly avoiding her attack. As she passed by he spun around on his two front paws and sank his teeth into the tom's long tail and he could hear the sudden shriek of pain as the tom was brought to a painful halt. When he noticed Silver stumbling to a halt trying to regain her footing so that she could turn around he quickly seized his opportunity and wrenched the tom backwards before he could recover. Ignoring the cry of pain he jumped onto the tom's back and mustered up all his strength as he swatted the tom over the head. As he did so he could feel the tom legs beneath him begin to buckle and he started to fall over. Quick as a flash, Storm jumped off of the unconcious tom and glared back towards Silver but his blood instantly turned ice cold when he couldn't see the pale grey she-cat. Where is she! He thought urgently as he quickly surveyed the landscape, there was no sign at all of Silver. Lashing his tail he felt a growl rise in his throat, she had escaped him and for all he knew she could be attacking someone else. A sudden hiss and yowl of pain forced Storm back to his senses and he instantly remembered Bramble. Spinning around Storm could see Bramble pinning his attacker to the ground with his lips drawn back in a ferocious snarl. Storm instantly bounded over and his eyes widened when he saw the hatred and rage in Bramble's eyes and he gasped when he saw Bramble about to plunge down and rip out his attackers throat.
Thinking fast, he quickly butted his brother to the side and glared at him and hissed, "Killing doesn't win battles Bramble!" Alarm flashed across Bramble's gaze but Storm didn't pause to see what he would do, instead he noticed movement in the corner of his eye as the cat tried to flee, but Storm was ready for him. Whipping around in a flash he planted a paw on the cats head forcing him to collapse to the ground, he then took his other paw and like before with the other tom, he quickly brought down his paw with all his strength on the back of the cats head and jumped back as the cat became limp and unconscious. In the distance he could suddenly hear the sounds of hissing and screeching and his blood instantly turned cold when he realized it was coming from the clans camp, no! He quickly darted away in the direction from which he had came, the world nothing more than a blur as the sounds of battle began to grow overpowering.
