This update was welllll overdue, so I kept it as long and descriptive as I could. Comment, tell me what y'all think! Also, I kept thinking back to Temptation for Dinero, so the names might be mixed up once or twice. -_- Sorry for the wait..
Recap: D'Mario shot the first person he saw when he was inside the room and that happened to be Money.
"Shit!" Money screamed as he held his hands to his arms.
"Go!" D told the nurse who ran into the room, heading for Chanel.
He shot the next person he saw, Cole and he couldn't believe his eyes when he saw who ran to Cole.
"Chris, are you fućking kiddi-!" D'Mario started but let out a piercing scream when a bullet went into his shoulder.
"Go!" The officer yelled and the SWAT team ran in the house.

"Daddy!" D'Mario opened his eyes, the sunlight making him close them back.
"Fuck." D'Mario groaned as he tried to sit up with his hands over his eyes. The pain in his shoulder had him falling back to the bed.
"Bad word!" A small finger was put in front of D'Mario's lips and he looked up to see his Angel.
"Baby girl?" D'Mario said, a smile pulled at his lips.
"I'm not a baby!" Angel whined, "I'm a big girl!"
"You gone always be my baby." He said, "Now gimme kiss!"
Angel bent down and pressed her lips against D'Mario's unshaven cheek.
"What's this?" Angel asked as she pulled softly at the bandages around D'Mario's shoulder.
"Daddy got hurt." D'Mario said, and he looked up at Angel. His mind flew to Chanel, making him sit up and ignore his shoulder pain, "Have you seen mommy?"
"Nooo, but I see Uncle Chris!"
"Fuck him," D'Mario mumbled as he gently sat Angel on the empty space beside him. He pushed his feet off the bed, and began to stand up. He slowly pulled the IV leading to fluid from his hand, and a beeping started from the machine he had been connected to.
"The lady said mommy can't have company right now." Angel said and D'Mario looked around the room, seeing his clothes sitting in one of the chairs in the room.
Fuck no company. He was going to see Chanel.
"Where ya grand-" Dinero cut off his sentence as Chanel's mom walked into the room with a bowl, milk, and a mini box of cereal in her hand.
"What you doing up?" She asked as Angel jumped from the bed and walked over to her grandma for her cereal.
"I gotta go see Chanel." He said as he grabbed his pants and pulled them on. His shirt was stained with blood, but he still pulled the hospital gown off and replaced it with his shirt.
"D'Mario, the doctor said she's serious but stable and you need your rest."
"What the fuck does that even mean?" D'Mario said as he tried to find his shoes, "where the fuck is my shit?"
"Bad word." Angel whispered.
"She's unconscious, yall both need your rest. She can't have any visitors right now, D'Mario."
"I just need to see her." D'Mario said as he pulled his shoes from under a chair, groaning as his shoulder ached. It was numb but still sore.
"I know, Mario," D'Mario felt arms wrap around him as he closed his eyes and he instantly returned the comfort.
Mrs.Robinson had been there with D'Mario through it all. Even when Chanel didn't have a word to say to him after they'd argue, she'd always make sure he was okay. When Angel had run out of diapers and D'Mario couldn't afford any, she ran to the store and spent whatever she had to. When he thought he couldn't do it anymore, when being a provider was just too much, she always took on his role for a little.
He could say she was the mother he didn't have.
"I was there," D'Mario cried, he couldn't help his tears, "I saw her on the ground, like a dead body, and I didn't even help her."
D'Mario remembered Chanel laying on the ground, her hands cuffed with red rings and bruises around them. Her body was so still as if she had been sleeping.
"You couldn't do anything," Mrs. Robinson said as she rubbed D'Mario's back, "God don't like ugly, and he gone make sure they get theirs."
"Is this the family of Chanel Robinson?" A voice spoke causing D'Mario to pull back from the hug as Kenneth, Nel's father entered the room.
"Yes sir." Mario responded.
"I'm Dr. Dennis, and I've been looking over Chanel. Chanel has a lung disease, and she had a future appointment to be planned about getting a transplant, but there's one problem. Chanel has Hepatitis B."
"Fuck." D'Mario breathed.
"Is it.. curable?" Mrs. Robinson asked.
"Chanel has had this for years. She had been getting injected with dirty needles possibly over one hundred times. Now, I have to look further into it, but she could possibly even be having liver failure or liver cancer along with lung failure."
"Is she going to be okay? Will my daughter live through this?" Kenneth asked as he held a confused Angel.
"Usually, with Hepatitis B the body fights it off within a few months. Chanel doesn't have any drugs in her system, so it's obvious that her body hasn't fought it off yet. The liver fights off infections and it stores energy, I want her extremely healthy before we go through with her surgery. So we're going to give her some drugs that will stop the liver from being damaged. We will continue to look out for her, your daughter is alive and breathing and we will do all we can to make sure it stays that way."
The doctor exited the room, and D'Mario sat on the bed as he took in what was said.
"Mario," Mrs. Robinson said, "Have you been sexual with Chanel?"
"Shit," D'Mario whispered and looked to Angel.
The times he had made love to Chanel unprotected, and all the times Angel had been eating and drinking off of both of them ran through his head..
"I think you need to be tested." Mrs. Robinson tried to say softly, but he knew she was thinking about the possibility of Angel getting it to.
"Now." Kenneth said, pulling Angel closer to him.
All D'Mario wanted was for Nel to get better, and to forget about his brother, Money, and Cole. But he knew they had scared Chanel for life, and they're would always be that fear in the back of her head after this.
They had possibly gave him, and their daughter Hepatitis B. They had kidnapped her. Beaten her. Raped her. Took her from him.
He wanted to kill them with his bare hands.
