Chapter 9 • Olivia - Vanessa - Mario
Part One

Vanessa bit her lip as she walked inside the hospital. Angel along with Chanel's mother were on the way.

She went to the desk and asked for Chanel before being directed to her room. As soon as Vanessa went into the room, she almost cried. Chanel had a mask to help her breathe attached to her mouth along with needles attached to her leading to fluid bag and a heart monitor.

Vanessa sat quietly in the seat. It was crazy to her how her best friend almost died. She knew they weren't on the best terms but Vanessa only wished Chanel would understand. She didn't want her reputation to be slaughtered.

D'Mario probably didn't approve of the situation she put him in but all she was asking for was him to say it was his. That's all, just a title.

Since they were young, stupid, childish children, D'Mario and Chanel had been there for her. She couldn't lose them over this. Vanessa put her hand to her stomach, she couldn't wait til the baby actually started moving and kicking.

Chanel hurled up, causing Vanessa to jump up. Chanel screamed, the heart monitor beating out of control. At that moment Angel along with her mother ran in and group of nurses.

"Mommy!" Angel shouted, running to her bed side while the nurses did the same.

"Ma'am, we need you to calm down." A young woman asked. Chanel looked to Angel who was looking up at her mother in confusion and sadness. Chanel slowly calmed down.

"I'll- I'll be back." Vanessa rushed out of the room while Chanel's startled mother took a seat.

Chanel took of the mask as soon as the nurses left.

"Mommy?"

Chanel turned her head to Angel looked up at her with tears in her eyes. Angel climbed onto the bed with Chanel's help and went into her mothers arms.

Chanel sighed, this was all she'd need. Angel was so understanding to be a child. She never asked too many questions, it was like she understood what Chanel was going through.

"Mommy, where's Daddy?" she asked, pulling back.

Chanel furrowed her eyes in confusion, the last thing she remembered was falling asleep in his car as they raced to the hospital.

"Ma, where's D?" Chanel asked as she turned to look at her mother.

"I need to go call someone." She said in a hurry.

Angel continued to hug her mother while Chanel combed her fingers through her hair. She continued doing so as her room door opened and closed.

"You see him?" Chanel asked before looking up.

She lost her breath. Money stood in front of her, he looked so much different but she could remember him from a mile away. He had grown facial hair, a lot and now wore a scar and star tattoo on his face.

"Damn, you look good." Money said with a grin on his face.

"Mommy?" Angel questioned while looking up at the man.

"Damn, she got cuter since the last time I seen her." Money told Chanel, looking at a confused Angel.

"Wha- What are you doing here?" Chanel asked, "How'd you get out?"

"Good behavior?" Money shrugged.

Vanessa threw the paper cut that was once full of water in the trash. She walked to Chanel's door and stopped once she heard a deep voice that she knew didn't belong to D'Mario. She pushed her ear against the door slowly and listened.

"Leave." Chanel told him, "please."

"Don't you miss me?" Money asked, "we had some fun times."

"Mommy?" Angel asked while Chanel covered her ears.

"Leave, before I call the police."

"For what? talking to my baby momma?" Money said with a chuckle while glancing at Angel who still looked confused.

"No!" Chanel shouted... How did he know?

Vanessa gasped and backed away from the door.

"D'Mario.." She whispered to herself, "Angel's not his."

She made a sharp turn before heading to the elevator. She needed to get home.

"You raped me!" Chanel whispered as rapid tears started to fall.

"It still was my seed." He growled, "you killed it."

"Stop!" Chanel screamed as Angel started to shake since she was so scared, "I lost it! Because of you!"

D' Mario stared at the officer, "My girl was abducted!"

"So that's your reason for assaulting a security officer?" The officer raised a eyebrow.

"Chanel Robinson, look her up." D'Mario pleaded. It was time that Chanel got her justice.

The officer looked him in eye before turning to his computer and typing her name.

"Ran away at the age of seventeen, September 9th, 2011. She's been back for the past months." The officer told him, "son, she wasn't abducted."

"She was kidnapped." D' Mario told him.

"I need proof." The officer told him, "you can't give me that."

"You married, right?" D' Mario asked and the officer nodded, yes.

"Think of you wife, if she was just gone out the blue for the past three years. Everybody thinks she ran away, you're the only one that knows the truth. She's suffering, she has to think of the memories of being raped and beaten. I wouldn't wish that on anybody, how would you feel?"

"This has nothing to do with my wife, you're going to be here for the next few hours until somebody picks you up."

D'Mario slammed his fists down, "Cole Howard and Money Jinkonz. I can tell you the whole fucking story."

"Money Jinkonz was just released from jail, there's no way he could be involved." The officer told him, a small smile on his face.

"For?"

The officer turned back to his computer before reading the screen.

"Rape." The officer said slowly before looking back to D'Mario, "Finish the story."

Cole laid his and on Chris's head that laid on his belly. Cole was starting to go crazy and now he was using all the drugs he could find to help him forget Chanel. For at least a minute.

Tonya stood in the living room, watching the couple cuddle. She didn't see what Cole saw in Chanel. She was just some average bitch.

"I have to use the bathroom." Tonya muttered.

"Upstairs, down the hall." Cole said, looking at the TV. Tonya was just a distraction.

Tonya went upstairs before walking to the first room she saw. It was a bedroom.

She almost gasped. The room was filled with pictures.

She slowly closed the door before walking to the picture that caught her attention. It was a younger version of Cole and a toddler sitting next to him. She had light skin but you could tell she was black.

She went to the next picture where a funeral paper was hanging in a frame.

In Loving Memory Of Olivia Hanson was on the old paper along with a picture. Tonya's hand flew over her mouth as she saw the picture of the female. That looked just like Chanel.

She opened the frame and took out the paper being careful not to rip it. She opened it before reading it slowly.

At the age of one, Olivia Hanson was put into a orphanage before Melanie Howard adopted the child. Olivia never got close enough to anyone to make friends, her one and only friend was her brother, Cole Howard. It was like they were attached by the-

"What are you doing in here?" Cole stood with a murderous look on his face. Tonya stood silent, not saying a word, "What the fuck are you doing in here!?"

"I-I- couldn't find the bathroom." She stuttered.

Cole was shaking, he put his hands to his head and screamed.

"Get out!" Tanya dropped the paper before hurrying to get out the room and never come back in this house. She didn't know what Cole and Chris were up to but she definitely didn't want to get involved in it now.

Cole walked to the wall and pulled off the pictures off one by one. Glass shattering from the frames. He continued to throw every single picture onto the floor, walking on the glass barefooted.

When only one picture was left, he picked it up and looked it. He smiled at the lovely face that looked just like Chanel but belonged to his sister, Olivia.

He used his hand to wipe off the dust before bringing the picture to his face and kissing it.

"I love you, Olivia baby."
