Chapter 10

Okay so um, we didn't see anything, we don't know anything, we need to have total and complete Amnesia," Pope said sitting down next to you.

"Actually Popes right for once," JJ announced surprising us all. "Deny deny deny," he said standing up. "We can't keep the money," Kiara insisted.

"Not all of us have unlimited data plans like you, Kiara," JJ snapped back at her. "JJ, what the heck," you shouted at him angrily. He turned to look at you and just frowned.

"We have to pass the money on to, Lana Grubbs or else it's bad karma," Kiara said and you nodded your head in agreement.

"We gotta go dark," Pope said making you shake your head and roll your eyes. "If that means we get to keep the money them I'm in too," JJ agreed.

"I don't agree," John B announced looking at JJ.

"What why not," JJ questioned John B.

"This is Scooter Grubbs we're talking about, the guy who I saw begging random people for change at the save-a-lot parking lot because he needed gas," John B said walking around the middle of the room.

"Yeah guys, we're talking about a marina rat who I'm pretty sure hasn't ever had more than 40 dollars on him," you said looking around at all of them.

"And how did he get a Grady-white it doesn't add up at all," John B finished.

You, Kiara, John B, Pope, and JJ we're all setting up a kegger on the beach for everyone.

"Poppppeeeee," you whines as you watched your friends drinking.

"No, for the hundredth time Y/n, you can not drink any beer," Pope replied obviously annoyed at how many times you had asked him.

You groaned, and looked around at all the people who had appeared in under 15 minutes.

There were the pouges like you and your friends.

There were also the kooks, the spoiled rich kids.

And then there were the tourists, the oblivious people who were on trips with their families.

"Sarah, please be careful," you heard a teenage boy say.

"What are they doing here," you groaned making your friends look your way.

Sarah Cameron and her also kook boyfriend had arrived at their kegger and were already stirring up trouble.

You sat down on a log and watched as Topper pulled Sarah off the lifeguard chair, and started walking towards the party.

You were pretty bored, since you hadn't been able to drink any beer thanks to your older brother.

You turned around and looked at everyone on the beach.

You spotted JJ and Kiara laughing together as a random tourist was telling jokes to them and a big group of other people.

Feeling jealous you stood up and sat down next to John B and you two hung out for a bit.

From the corner of your eye you saw Topper and Sarah stand up like they were leaving.

'Finally, those annoying spoiled kids are leaving' you thought happily.

When you turned back to face John B you realized he had left and was being handed a beer by JJ.

You stood up and walked over to them seeing as you had nothing else to do since Kiara was talking to some stranger who actually looked interested.

Pope was ignoring you, because you keep asking him for beer.

And you really didn't feel like talking to people you didn't know.

"Hey Y/n," JJ acknowledged you and put and arm around the your neck. You gently leaned into him suddenly feeling tired.

You noticed Topper and Sarah holding hands as they neared you leaving the party.

"Hey hey, Sarah!" JJ shouted towards the girl "What are you doing JJ," you said tiredly not wanting anything bad to happen.

"Sarah, could I interest you in a tasty Milwaukee beverage?" JJ asked Sarah, and   pulled away from you and closer to Sarah.

"No thanks," Sarah replied clearly not interested but of course that didn't stop JJ.

"What is it not fancy enough for you?" JJ asked starting to make things tense. "No were leaving actually," Sarah said looking up at topper.

"You know what I'll take it," Topper announced before anyone said anything else.

"We'll I wasn't asking you," JJ told him with a fake pout on his face.

"Great here we go again." you mumbled
