Leafy has just discovered that they're nonbinary but they're too scared of nobody accepting them so they haven't come out yet. Firey came out as a trans girl with her team and the have cots. 'Damn Firey sure has guts! I'm happy for her though..' Leafy thought. Meanwhile Firey felt so awkward now. 'Jeez, that was so hard! I felt like I was gonna explode! Glad people were accepting of me though! I don't know why Leafy looked sad though, eh it's probably not important.' Firey thought. Leafy started dressing more androgynous-like over the weeks of bfb. They told only one person which surprisingly was Flower, of all people Flower would be the one to spill the beans on accident but Leafy didn't know who to turn to. Later episode twenty two was aired and Firey and Leafy finally made up with each other but Leafy was still afraid of what Firey would say if she found out that they're not a girl nor a boy. So Leafy just focused on rekindling their friendship in stead of coming out of their mental closet. Though Flower accidentally spilled the beans to Firey while talking to her. "Oh shoot I wasn't supposed to tell you that..! Please don't tell Leafy I said that information to you — they said they were gonna come out later but only told me because Im the only one they trust enough to keep it a secret! Ugh I blew it! Just please act surprised and be supportive whenever they come out!" Flower pleaded. Firey smiled. "Don't worry Flower! Should I call leafy by their preferred pronouns tho?" Firey asked. "I don't know but I think you should.."

Leafy couldn't sleep, they couldn't stop thinking about Firey. They really messed up with Firey.. they know that both of them have made up and are on good terms but.. something feels odd. Firey has also been calling them by their preferred pronouns which wouldn't be a problem if Leafy were out of the closet but Firey couldn't possibly know! Maybe Firey just doesn't know Leafy's true pronouns and doesn't wanna assume their gender! That makes total sense..! Leafy looked out of their window, staring at the stars. "Maybe I could tell four.. or X? They're both genderless and do keep secrets well..." leafy whispered quietly to their self. They then heard a knock on their door. "Oh um.. c-come it!" Leafy felt a little bit awkward. The door opened to reveal Firey, smiling with glee..? maybe it's a special day? Or night in this case? Firey had made Leafy a pride flag. "Flower blurted it out in a conversation but I just want you to know that I'll always love and support you!" Firey said. Leafy teared up and smiled. "Thank you."
