Abhimaan was glaring at Vishal.
"Any reason for your action?!" He asked him, more like shouted.
Vishal didn't say anything.
"Did you forget or what what she did to you?!"
"I remember but we were kids at that time, Manny."Flashback
"Vishal, I really like you. Will you be my boyfriend?" A 14 years old Somya confessed and proposed a 18 year old Vishal.
(It's pretty common then , maybe even now too to have age gap between a boy and a girl in relationship.)"But -"
"No buts..... I have seen you how you look at me, Vishal. If you are thinking about Maan bhai then don't worry about him. I will inform him and all the elders when time comes." She didn't let him talk."Not that. I am not talking about it. It's just........ Don't you think our age gap is-"
"Our parents and many couples have age gap between them so it's not a big deal." She smiled at him.
"But it still feels awkward to have my best friend's cousin as my girlfriend." He put forth his insecurity.
"Don't you like me? Vishal don't lie cause I have marked many times since I came here, you look at me. But when I look back at you, you look somewhere else. ""How can you be this fast forward? You are not that shy girl who used to not even talk to anyone. It's like you have become whole different person." He asked her not believing she asked him out first.
"Well someone has to."Vishal wanted to say something but nothing came out from his lips.
*Silence*
"Do you think it will work?" He was unsure.
She nodded in positive.
"I know that long distance relationship is little difficult but trust me, I will never let distance come between us." She assured him.Somya and her family lived in London. At first Abhimaan's family had to shift to London as it was decided that Abhay would take care of the business in UK. But Abhimaan didn't want to leave Vishal and go.
"So....... Will you?" Somya asked him being unsure of his answer.
Vishal nodded.Somya smiled widely and on the other hand smiling shyly as his first crush became the first one to take initiative. But at the same time he was afraid of Abhimaan's reaction. He had been always protective for his siblings and cousins.
Though he was happy that his crush too liked him, he was sad that he couldn't share this news to his best friend who is also a brother to him.
___________________________________They both would never leave each other's side still none could know about their little love story.
Somya always wanted to come close to Vishal and wanted them to be able to do skinship. But Vishal made sure that they stayed in their limits till they didn't made their relationship public.
In lunch too they would sit side by side.Vishal and Somya were stealing glances of each other while eating.
"Somya can you please pass the pickle bottle?" Abhimaan asked her.
She passed the jar with her left hand.
"What behaviour is this Somya? Are you a kid that I have to teach you from which hand you should pass the things to your elders!" Nirmala scolded her.
It turned out to be that Somya was holding Vishal's hand under the table.Being a soft girl, she didn't like to be scolded by her mother so her eyes welled up.
"Sorry, mummy." She said in a low voice and left Vishal's hand.
"It's okay, Chachi. It's not her fault. She's using her right hand so it's just in the moment that she used her left hand." Abhimaan reasoned."No, Mannu. Don't take her side. She's being disrespectful day by day! Yesterday she raised her voice at Shanti just because the cup slipped from her hand and the tea spoiled her shoes. She didn't even apologised her. Just for a shoe did she has to scold someone elder to her?" Nirmala said.
