Tears welled up in her eyes. One by one tears started to fall.
"I am sorry. I didn't know Ruchika's intention. I am sorry on behalf of my family.. I am sorry." She lowered her face."No. It's not your fault nor anyone's. I was mine. I shouldn't-"
"I shouldn't *sobs* have let you *sobs* stay outside in the rain."
"No love." He tried to hug her but she moved back.
"Yes it was your fucking fault! If you wouldn't have been a moron then this all wouldn't have happened!" Krushi shouted.
"What is my family's fault in this?!"
"Didn't I say you to go back! Why you didn't listen to me!"
"Krushi let's sit and talk." He tried to hold her hands.
"No! I want to go back!"
"What?" Abhimaan couldn't believe what he heard.
"I want to go back to my house!" She said.
"We are in our house." He knew what she indicated still he chose to ignore.
"No! This is not my house! I want to go back to Bangalore! Right now! I don't want to stay here!" She cried."We will go. Okay." He didn't try to go against her now as he knew she was not in her right state and if he says anything more then she will not like it.
He pulled her for a hug. This time she didn't protest.
"No. I want to go alone. I want to go back. I don't wanna stay here." She sobbed clutching to his shirt tight."Don't you want to take Aarav with you?" He tried to joke but miserably failed.
Krushi looked upto him and glared at him with her teary eyes."Oh my God! Your face and eyes are completely red. " He wiped her tears with his fingers.
He brought a tissue and wiped her nose."Now don't cry. Okay. You don't look good while crying. I like my grumpy, angry and smiley Krushi." He placed a kiss on her forehead.
"Am I heartless?"
Abhimaan understood where her talks were going.
"No."
"Is my family heartless?" Her eyes glistened while asking.
"No." He picked her up in his arms and took her to the bed.
He made her sit in between his legs and let her lay against his chest.
"Then why did aunty say like that? Didn't my family behave well? Did they do something to you that you didn't like?" She desperately asked.
"No, Krushi. They never did anything even when you were not present there. Mom and badi maa taught me how to cook, and do house chores-" Krushi abruptly turned to face him.
"Did they behave harshly while teaching? Did Mom say something harsh? Please recall." Pain was evident in her eyes."Shh. They didn't behave harshly. Infact they were the sweetest. We made and ate many new dishes when you were not there. In short we enjoyed our time together." He turned her and made her lay against him.
"I am sorry about Maa. She's overprotective for me. Don't mind her words. I know what she said was not right but she was angry and hurt ,love. I know we had difficult time so didn't call her. She felt betrayed when she knew about this incident and sad because she wasn't there for me." He kissed her crown.
"Now sleep for sometime." He patted her hands which was on her belly.
"Don't think much about it."
"How can I not?" He didn't answer rather continued patting her till she slept.-------------------------------
Abhimaan went to find Aarav to feed him some snacks.
"Rohan, make something light for Aarav. He might be hungry."
"Okay, bhaiya." Rohan replied and went to the kitchen.
He searched for Aarav but he was nowhere to be seen.
"Where did he go?" He mumbled to himself and went to Vijay's room to look for him.
"Daadu, is Aarav here?"
"No." Vijay answered coldly.
Abhimaan found it little awkward as his grandfather had never talked to him in that tone.
He thought that he might be disturbed due to that incident so he didn't say anything and went out of the room.
He went to Pritika's room to check for him.
