Chapter 1 ~ The Vision Part 1

Third Person Pov:

It is night fall in Ninjago...
And our ninja are resting in their monestary. Everyone is sleeping peacefully on this beautiful, star shining, night.

All but one...

Zane seemed to be having an odd dream. It must have been scary too, for he has woken up from his sleep.

Zane's Pov:

I have just awoken from my dream which seemed more like a vision... Again...

I decide to go outside to think about what I have seen in my vision. Once I opened the door out the monestary, I notice someone sitting over the gates of the monestary.

I walked closer, seeing a spiked, haired brunette who was wearing the color red on him. That's when I realized it was... "Kai?" I ask as he jumps, frighten, and turned to me. "O-oh... Hey Zane. What are you doing up?" He asked, "I should ask you the same question. Are you having trouble sleeping or have you been awoken by a nightmare of some sort?" I ask, trying to see his reason for being awake this late at night.

"Oh, yeah... I kinda had trouble sleeping..." He says while I climb up to sit next to him. Once I do I see him use his fire to warm himself from the cold of fall. "What seems to disturb you? If I may ask?" "It's nothing important. What about you? Why are you up so late?" He asks me.

My eyes widened as I thought about my vision. I did not want him to know it was about him. I would find it wise to tell the others before Kai. Just for our and his safety...

Kai's Pov:

I make a confused face at Zane, since he just stared at me wide eyed and looked away upset.

Did I say something wrong?, I ask myself as he turned his head facing me, "Same reason as you," he says.

"He's lying... Something might be up... He's hiding something," a female voice says in my head.

Alright..., I replied

I looked back at the flame I'm holding in my hand, keeping me warm since it's pretty cold tonight, but since I didn't want to stay up to long I decided to head back to my room and try to sleep.

I started to yawn just thinking about bed. "Why don't you head back to bed? You need your rest in order to be healthy," Zane suggested as I turned my body facing the front of the monestary. I turned my head to Zane and said, "I was just thinking that... Well, see ya in the morning bud!"

I jumped off the top of the gate and went straight to my room. Right when I closed my room door and plopped myself on bed. I opened my eyes and looked at my room one more time before closing my eyes and falling asleep...
