Chapter 14 ~ Accept Our Friendship!

Third Person POV:

It was mid-afternoon, the soul of the princess was floating the halls of the library, using her powers to reorganize books and clean any dust on sight.

While doing so she didn't seem to realize one of the ninja enter the grand room full of books.

Red was peacefully using her powers and soon stared off into the distance, staring blankly at a random book. Hesitantly, she uses her powers to bring to book to her and she slowly reaches towards it. After some moments of overwhelming pressure, she finally grabs the book. Well, almost did. The girl's soul form didn't allow her to hold the book for more than two seconds, causing the book to fall to the ground.

The princess sighs miserably before using her powers to grab it, only for a hand to suddenly snatch it mid-air. The action caused Red to jump and see Jay with a bright smile and a light chuckle. "Heheh... Need some help?" The young teen merely stared before narrowing her eyes at him, making the blue ninja sweat nervously, the anxiety eating him from the inside.

The doors closed behind Jay after being forced out of the library. He let's out a breath of relief, but also disappointment, seeing how she didn't do anything too bad. Though he wished the princess did allow him to help, wanting to get to know the quiet soul.

Cole hid behind the door to the back of the palace. He watches as Red uses her powers to hold the watering can and water the wonderful variety of roses. After finally gathering enough courage, he walks up to the soul with a kind smile.

"Hi, Red! Need some help watering the flowers?" He asks with a bright attitude, bringing as much positivity as he can, in hopes it will be enough for Red to give him a chance of her friendship. Although the girl just stared at him blankly before narrowing her eyes at him, searching for something he could be hiding.

Cole stared back for a few seconds before raising an eyebrow in confusion.

Kai was passing by the open doors to the backyard of the palace, only to step back and look outside. His jaw dropped in shock and fear as he sees Cole on the ground, his face stuck in mud, as Red just floated over him and watered his head as if she was watering a planted seed inside of his skull. The princess looked up to Kai, who was feet away from the two, staring blankly before giving a quick smile and stared down at Cole with an awfully intense blankness.

Kai cringed and prayed for Cole.

Red felt hungry. Despite not needing to eat as a soul, she honestly just misses the taste of food. As she was about to leave her bedroom, she opened the door and jumped at the sudden sight of Zane standing with a tray full of delicious food.

"Good afternoon, Princess Red. I figured you might have been hungry, due to your lack of eating. Although, I am unsure if you do get hungry in your current state, but I would like to be sure that you are alright with eating food of my own cooking style," the ice ninja explained calmly and kindly to the silent soul.

As much as Red wanted to just snatch the tray and shove everything in her mouth, she still felt skeptical of the ninja. She looks from the food to Zane with a cold glare.

Zane smile twitches, uncomfortable with the sudden look he's being given. He was about to speak, but when he opened his mouth, Red's bedroom door slammed shut immediately.

Red was walking around the palace, checking to see if there was anything needed to be done, due to her absence in the realm. She went into a grand office, to which was hers, and started going through her many folders. She started checking her schedules and files with a calming silence.
