Third Person POV:

This being...

He... is nothing that deserves to burn by the God of Hell...

He is nothing that does not deserve the purity of the Goddess of Heaven...

HE DESERVES NOTHING BECAUSE HE IS NOTHING

Red opens her eyes... seeing nothing but her soft glow in the emptiness of the black void. Soundless and dark. Silent, yet so loud. The princess kept her breathing settled, calming herself without giving the teasing void the gift of her fear, as she looked around. She hoped to find at least a small tint of light as much as she could, but unfortunately found nothing. The soul's lips parted, feeling a need to call out to someone... anyone...

Although as she did, she couldn't find herself the courage to use her voice. She isn't scared, definitely not, no! She's just...

"Terrified...?"

She turns to look behind her, eyes wide with thin pupils.

A cold, empty laugh echoes through, even scaring the mischievous silence from the void. Red floated as her body fully turned, seeing behind her... The very being that she needed to avoid at all costs-

Her eyes popped out, widened out of fear. Although she is a soul, she feels her breath being taken, forced out of her. She feels the core of her soul-like body being tainted. Her body twitches as she struggles to move her eyes down, which for some reason hurt her in such a way she couldn't describe. Red's mouth hesitantly opens, letting out a silent scream. Suddenly, she felt an aching pulse coursing through her body, causing her body to throb and ache in so much unbearable pain.

Red's eyes roll back...

Slowly falling into the darkness she never wanted to be succumbed to...

Kai, Chris and Grey's footsteps rush to the doors of the palace. They had no time to push them open so Grey used his powers to blast open the doors. The sounds of the doors being forced open had caught the attention of the ninja. As they rush out of their shared room, they're shocked to see the three males shaken and sweaty. They would think it's from the running, but Nya had a feeling it was more than that.

Kai looks around as he stops, Chris and Grey stopping behind him, their heads moving to search every spot they can see in their place. Kai's eyes shrank as he looked to his little sister, "Where's Red?!"

Just that question sent a shiver down the confused group's spines. They knew now that something was wrong... very, very wrong...

Moments later, they're all rushing towards the princess's bedroom doors. Just like before, though this time it's Kai who blasts the doors open. Silence overcame the bedroom, but the wind of the night was the only thing keeping the silence from being do overwhelming. Worry bubbles inside Kai's heart as they all scattered into the empty bedroom.

"She's not here..." Zane states, not even trying to hide the uneasiness in his tone.

"Whe-...where did she go...?" Cole asks in a fearful whisper, hugging himself as he feels the cold breeze of the wind cause his body to shiver. Lloyd and Jay walk over to the giant closet, slowly and gently opening the doors as they both peek through. The two see it empty, and nothing seemed to have been moved or out of place. They look at each other before Jay spoke up, "She's not in the closet..."

"She's not in her bathroom either," Chris says blankly. They all drop their concern and replaced it with confusion. Grey gave him a dumbfounded face and Nya raised a brow. Kai walked up with a blank face, stopping right besides him before slapping him upside the head. "Ow! What was that for man?!" "Why the hell would a soul be in the bathroom? Red can't shower or use the toilet, and she has a vanity out here to look at herself." Kai explained as he gave a slight side eye to the hybrid guard.
