Uninvited
You turn on your diffuser after putting some vanilla oil. Your house is just average since you're all alone living. Your parents already died, leaving you with no relatives left. Basically, you're literally alone.
Sometimes you can't help but to feel homesick. Even though you're home, you still feel homesick. Maybe because humans need someone by their side to make the house feel home.
Time passes by, you got used to it. You learn how to stand alone. To understand that it's just the way it is.
Back in the past when Shinichiro was still alive he often comes here to hangout with you. Even Mikey and Emma treat this as their second home.
They made you feel what family felt like. Doesn't matter if you share the same blood or not. Because sometimes home doesn't necessary means a place, sometimes it also means someone you loved.
It all crashed down the moment Shinichiro died. Later on, Emma also died. Mikey was the only person you have left but sadly Mikey has some issues lying beneath him. You were left alone.
Long story short, you guys went on different path.
As you sit on the couch you placed your coffee on the table. It's your restday today, weekends. The only day you get to have me time.
You rest your head on the couch and briefly closed your eyes.
It's been a month since the incident happened at your officemate's place. It was one of your worst night.
When you and Sanzu got out from the house the Haitani brothers were just watching. They didn't say any word. Same goes to you and Sanzu.
The look on your friend was the look you wish you could forget. Her expression was traumatic. Like she already know what Sanzu did. Maybe she saw it coming. You don't know exactly since after that night she didn't come to the office anymore. She was declared AWOL.
You wanted to say sorry to her for not stopping Sanzu but you don't know what words to compose. You just looked at her with a hint of guilt.
She run off to enter their house and the next thing you heard was her constant scream of asking why.
Sanzu guided you to his car without saying anything. You watch him talk to Haitani brothers.
Ran looked at you with the eyes saying 'I told you so'. Rin just shrug his shoulders and even had the guts to tap Sanzu's shoulder.
Sanzu drove you home. The whole ride was silent. He didn't say anything to you even after he dropped you off. Just like that, he left.
You tried to visit your officemate and to also know what the hell happened. One thing your sure of is that Bonten won't do anything to you if you didn't do any bad move.
Having a business with them also means you're having a dirty business. It's a common sense. This is not a child's play.
When you went to their place it was empty. No one was home. The neighbor said that your officemate and her family moved out after the incident. No one had an idea where they went.
Seems like your officemate didn't report to the police what happened that day. It got you more curious because the last time you saw her face it was like she knew this would happen. She saw it coming but have no power to stand against it.
Your hunch is that his father probably had a business with Bonten that's why things escalated like that. Her father was addicted to gambling and she didn't know where her father got the huge amount of money.
